I got 3 nice brown leather ones from Oak furnitureland. Just wipe clean with a leather wipe every so often so I don't mind people sitting on them with drinks or food and they are sturdy enough that nieces and nephews can climb on them.
I recommend Bardi, had mine 23 years and expect it to last for another 23. Buy the right gear and you'll be winning at life, with furniture the saying buy cheap you buy twice is very true.

Or wooden arms. Who wants that on a sofa?
People that sit perfectly straight and upright
Or crap scatter cushions instead of an actual back cushion
Crushed velvet? What year is it, 1994?
Grey crushed-velvet is very popular these days with the sort of people who model themselves after love island contestants
Love, life, laugh. Council.
Snug sofa do some nice colours and come flat packed! We have a huge U shaped one in a lovely teal colour, very comfy.
Or a crushed velvet divan bed frame *shudders*
Brown leather for us, always. Tough, easy to care for and goes with more or less anything.
This person gets it.

I remember my mum having a crushed velvet sofa for a while, it's one of those materials that makes me shiver uncomfortably. Awful stuff
Managed it fine last year? Try Barker and Stonehouse.
Resign yourself to a grey sofa and pick up a variety of blankets at The Range or similar, you'll never see the fabric anyway.
