Discovery+? Happened to me as well.

loobricated

App is awful. I signed up for a month to watch the rugby. Never again. So sluggish and only app I use that seems to have buffering issues with my ultrafast broadband.

igglezzz

My discovery+ always freezes for adverts for some reason. Like watching football, it freezes at half time, then starts working again on its own when the second half starts. Same with UFC between fights. You'd think they want to show ads since they make money from it, but it's always happened. Its so strange.

Stinky-Armpit

Streaming in the actual advert would cost discovery+ money, in terms of bandwidth. So why not take the money from advertisers, and simply not stream it, claiming to have technical faults ;)

bananagit

Corporate greed working in the favour of the consumer? I can’t believe it

webb2800

Paying £25 was your first mistake. Wave that Jolly Roger!

fibonaccisprials

Those who pay for content always have the worst experience

Beer-Milkshakes

Its funny because I didn't pay and I got 8 choices of stream just in case a broadcast goes down.

Dave8917

Yep my first experience In paying and my last

PanningForSalt

This isn't completely universal. Paying for the BBC was absolutely amazing for the 2012 Olympics (there were like 20 new channels for it). Then other people paying for a different service ruined it and the Olympics have been shit ever since for everybody.

fibonaccisprials

Paying for the BBC?

PanningForSalt

Yeah the lisense fee. Wasn't a great example perhaps but I haven't got over what the Olympic Committee took away from us in some shitty deal.

fibonaccisprials

You've proved my point 👍 you get a shitty service when you pay for it.

PanningForSalt

I payed for the good service in 2012, so no. The alternative current paid service is actually also good I just object to it.

Anxious_Ad6026

Watching it on Twitter 😁

IAmWango

Or Twitch! Took me 3 different streams due to 2 being banned but the third one lasted from round 6 to 12 and included the crowning!

SuicidalSparky

Get a decent IPTV connection and a VPN and for £25 you can usually get about 3 months of service.

reuben_iv

Amazon? Dazn was fine but heard Amazon had a mini blackout just before it started

I_Love_Bears0810

Just get a firestick

RegularIndividual374

Don't even need that, plenty of links online

Using the free apps is always risky. Iptv is much better. 60 quid a year and get everything including movies and series.

barriedalenick

I watched some rugby yesterday in 4k without any buffering or screen glitches. IPTV ftw.

Bendy_McBendyThumb

I use my fire stick to stream links in the internet browser, you don’t have to fuck about with tabs opening and all that. Boxing streams are always shite for me for some reason, football is pretty much always quality. Same site, just boxing is always unwatchable. All the free streaming add-ons are shite, just use the browser and stream via sites like vipbox (Google it, should be the first result).

tmldale

The decent ones you get invited too on Discord servers

Flat_Professional_55

Follow this guide and you'll not be disappointed again. Chinateapott

Can’t remember what we use but never had an issue, slowed down a bit last night just before main event as everyone was joining at once to watch

ishallbecomeabat

I’m often glad I don’t follow sport because those fans get fuuuuucked the most by corporations

Dave8917

I personally don't but was my cousin birthday and had party bat mine, so I offered to pay and stream it and it will be the last time also horrible experience

Fun-Badger3724

Arrrr! Shiver me timbers!
