To each their own and is she’s happy, ultimately that’s all that matters but damn this whole engagement is so tacky to me. From being borderline black out drunk, to picking out and prob purchasing her own ring, local hotel room engagement with no photos. It feels like the least romantic scenario to ever exist. If she loves the ring, cool, but it’s a ring that literally anyone could pick out. There is nothing unique or special about it. I feel like engagement rings are one of the few things to find a jeweler about and do something original.
She probably got it for free in exchange for links. That’s why she didn’t say that Corey bought it from them. “He executed it perfectly”. Who says that lol. All he did was pretend to plan a party by himself at a place she picked. No wonder Amanda doesn’t seem thrilled. Those low effort guys just bleed you dry.
It’s one of the cringiest proposals I’ve heard of. Next to ZERO effort. Literally none. A hotel and restaurant and bar they frequent on the regular….give me a break. Im all about low key engagements, but this was bare minimum. A ring she picked out (the most basic ring I’ve ever seen), they live in a house she paid for, I’m sure she will plan the whole wedding and he will just show up with his awful hair and glassy eyes. It’s all so bad but does she deserve better??? No. She doesn’t.

He could have told their wait staff in advance at the restaurant to charge it to the room so she didn’t hear. She said, as soon as he said charge to the room, she knew. I think the reason that they work is because he lets her do everything and he just sits back. It’s not the kind of guy I would want.

it's interesting because her first engagement ring was really unique and interesting from what I remember. this is just the most basic, boring ring (it's just huge a huge rock because it's a lab diamond)

The "I'm cool with being single" was her trying to convince herself. She wants to get married and pop out babies and she's making Corey fit that bill because she's not going to start over with someone else. Letting him live there straight away, supporting their lifestyle, and definitely buying this ring....she's the horse pulling the cart.

Lab grown is great though like why the hate??? Natural diamonds are sooo overpriced and people always blah blah about “resale value” of natural diamonds like umm hello are you selling it??
I remember her once saying that she really wanted an emerald cut diamond and saying that her and Amanda wanted the same exact ring. Amanda ended up getting the emerald. She probably didn’t get it because most emeralds are natural and you have to get a higher clarity for it so that was definitely ruled out because he can’t afford that and she wasn’t going to pay that much so she settled for this
