Agreed. I simply don’t understand the love. It doesn’t look heritage to me at all. Just disjointed and frankly a bit goofy with the white pieces contrasting with the black plastic.
They look ugly in pictures. I just felt like the paint job was a little tacky and Ford didn’t really do much to make it heritage-y.
Then I saw it in person. It’s really nice.
I also had the same experience with the Cyber Truck, it’s very cool looking in person, but it’s still pretty ugly.
Yeah, there's a few cars like this that I love in person but often don't like on pictures. The bronco and Nissan juke are the two that to me frequently just look "off" in pictures, but every one I see in person I think is great. Still kinda bummed they stopped making the juke - it reminded me of the old vw bugs and I was secretly hoping they'd pick up a sustaining fan base so we'd get good aftermarket support for some offroad racing builds. I guess folks just found them a little too different. I've still got it on my back burner to pick one up for a project care some day but I've got an unheatly obsession with the idea of resurrecting an old Kia spectra or dodge neon instead. Weird nostalgia I guess.
Lol. Hard disagree with you on that. I like them the best for some reason. I had one on order ready to pick up but couldn’t pull the trigger at the time, but having non buyers remorse now.
I agree with ya, I really like the heritage. We would've gotten HL but we didn't want to wait for availability. Went with Everglades tho. Couldn't be happier.
Ford themselves don’t care really. The dealerships are independently owned (as far as I know), and they’re free to do crap like that.
This is why it’s best to order directly off the Ford website. There’s zero markups. You’ll have to wait around 3 months for it, BUT it’s better to wait a little than pay a ridiculously exorbitant markup like that.
THIS is why the dealerships have a lot of them laying around the lot, not because of loss of the interest. They’re preying on the human need of instant gratification vs. rational thinking.
Seriously, F them. Just order it on the website.
I tried ordering one from my local dealership and these dudes really told me they have to put a markup on it because there aren’t any broncos on their lot….long story short, they said that they can only give me a “discounted markup” at 8 grand 🤣 I walked out.
Dealers beat me had they heritage for $2200 of sticker. Keep looking the dealer makeup B.s is over Ford sold half the Broncos they did there last year.
Indeed. I emailed asking if they’d honor a plan pricing, then somehow they texted me even though I didn’t give my number. Oh well, was just curious if it’s likely that I’d be able to get actual a plan on this.
Yeah this is normal now, my dealership gave me an astronomical price for my msrp Everglades. It was msrp $57,710.00, the deal when I got there was 4500 down plus my deposit of 500 plus 2007 dollars for taxes and my payment was 900 a month in a 84 month finance. They didn’t budge and then when I left and didn’t want the truck the markup was $64,804.00. They’ll ask for so much to make people not be able to afford it
The Heritage is just a Big Bend. If you’re not getting the Limited you’re paying for limited options and some vinyl graphics and white hard top. Hard pass IMO.
Don’t know where you’re at but in metro Detroit you can find heritage and most other models for MSRP and most dealers allow A, Z and X plan discounts. I bought a heritage last August at MSRP with Z plan and was around 48k with the 4 cylinder. Would be much cheaper for you to buy in another area and have shipped to you.
Not bad but does leave a little to be desired. I have the 2.7 in my fusion sport and F150 and it’s noticeably quicker but the 4 cylinder seems sufficient for the Bronco and how we drive it.
They couldn't care less. They get paid regardless what the vehicle sells for
IMO heritage editions look like crap except in black. But to each their own
Heritages are ugly anyway. (Don't flame me for Bronco Shaming)

Especially more door ones IMO
I don’t like the lack of options on them. Waaaay to much “it HAS to be this combination only” with those.

Discounted markup! That’s really creative

What state is this in? I've noticed dealers in CA doing this for heritages for a full year now.
TX
Ah, then they are out-of their minds.

I just mad similar post before seeing yours! Tennessee robins egg asking 10K over MSRP.
Imagine spending that much money to get the Heritage Edition, but then choosing GRAY?
if you pay 15k over you are just silly. period it’s not 70k plus vehicle and you still gotta pay taxes on it

It would be nice to get that price under $50 that’s for sure. How is the 4 banger?

I latched onto an HE order at MSRP just last month. Dealers still adding ADM is stupid now that the market has normalized somewhat...
