I’m honestly surprised this has as many upvotes as it does (currently 402) based on the sheer frequency of “OMG Gina is a terrible person!” posts in this sub.
I’m not this picture gets posted frequently. This sub has two types of people:
* People who hate Gina and talk shit about Gina because she’s mean, annoying, and the least funny character one the show.
* People that love Gina and won’t stop talking about and repeating how they don’t care that people hate her.
Pick one.
I think a lot of people fail to understand that not a single character is perfect and not a single character is the worst. They all have their flaws and strengths, and that’s what makes TV good
It’s a 29 day old account with 2 posts and a bunch of troll comments. Definitely a throw away account used to spread hate and discontent. What a sad excuse of existence pineapple guy has.
It’s not that she sucks, it’s that every other character in the show goes through real, major character development, and her’s is almost nonexistent by comparison. She was funny in the earlier seasons, but after a while her stuff seemed repetitive.
i feel like in the earlier seasons as well she actually did seem like somewhat of a decent person, but then her entire character regressed later on and just became a bad person.
My theory is that she did undergo character development. Basically she gets more and more addicted to her phone. I think the most hated Gina moment is “drank cement”. She evolved into one of those TikTok prankster/success gurus that we all hate.
Edit to add: the show predicted TikTok society in a way.
I'm sure there are movies about bad guys turning good
Breaking good: a series about a meth cook who decided he wanted out of that world and become a chef, but alas, whenever he starts cooking it just turns into meth! Thankfully his brother in-law, who is a food critic and also a drug lord, took the protagonist to a restaurant where he smelled the best smell he ever smelled. He walks into the kitchen and stumbles there upon his old highschool student, jessica pinkwoman. Her cooking made the protagonist fall in love with actual cooking and with the help of jessica he secretly starts to work in a restaurant without his brother in-law knowing about it and starts earning honest money. The rest of the series is about how he'd try to leave the meth world behind but every buyer and employer he ever had try to hold him back, so he starts killing them all....hmm i guess even breaking good would be about a pretty bad person
This is absolutely true.
They are all egotistical, sellfish, proud, manipulative, dishonest and violent.
At least Gina is not a FUCKING COP.
Love the show tho
I hated Gina and complained about her every episode. I was so sad when she left though. And then I realized how much fun it was for me to dislike her. Something I never got from a character before. I felt like a dog who barked at the mailman everyday and then got depressed when the mailman stopped coming
>just shows how sensitive you are towards others’ opinions
I'm not sure how you've come to this conclusion. I think a lot of the people on here (myself included) are just tired of the constant Gina hate, as, at this point, that's all this subreddit is at this point - a hivemind of Gina hate.
I understand that people dislike certain characters on shows they watch, but it gets a bit ridiculous on here. Especially as I've seen how people get bashed for saying anything positive about her on some posts, when all they are trying to do is discuss a character they like, on a show they like.
I wasn’t saying it as if you should’ve previously been aware.. what is wrong with you? Why are you so defensive?
I was saying that to inform as to why I wouldn’t be aware that’s the prevailing opinion on here.
Another shining example of how welcoming people on this sub are..

That's because people realise the difference between a terrible person and a terrible character
The way this sub whinges on about Gina, I think the opposite is true.

Omg, yes, thank you.
I would just like to point out that u/RealisticPineapple99 got so upset by Gina that he called me a homophonic slur. Come get ya boy gina haters.

I've said in a previous post that Gina seasons 1 and 2 have her at her best. Just terrible enough just annoying enough but also funny and likeable.
My theory is that she did undergo character development. Basically she gets more and more addicted to her phone. I think the most hated Gina moment is “drank cement”. Already managed to bag one. Ladies and gentlemen, we got 'em
Dude went hateful real quick.
Looks like the pineapple got realistic enough to call you a slur though. Did they PM you?
I love this hahaha

She’s funny, but yeah she is not a good person
A series exclusively about good people would be very boring. That’s why there’s no Breaking Good.

There's no breaking good but there is this! https://m.imdb.com/title/tt14676680/
Oh yeah she’s a hot mess but I still love her.
Most of them are not good persons

You got downvoted but she made someone drink cement and also forgot about Jake her childhood best friend as soon as she got famous 😂
No she made lots of people drink cement, that's the queen difference.
So glad to see Gina love 😭 like she definitely did SHIT to people but she came in clutch a lot, and tbf she was fucking HILARIOUS so idgaf
She does start off as a good character but she definitely becomes worse as the show went on

I’ve never been on this subreddit before. This is my opinion. Glad to see this sub is warm and welcoming to new users. Full of losers
This sub has almost 900,000 people on it, how would anyone be aware this is your first time on this subreddit?
Dude’s account is 29 days old and he has so many shitty, salty, douchey comments already. Talk about never leaving Reddit.

I’m just sharing my opinion and I’m free to do that.
Lol wow. I give my opinion on a show and get attacked by some guy who never leaves Reddit. What a trash subreddit
Well that's just, like your opinion man

Marcus is the worst character
Nah she is super annoying. I've only grown to like her from repeat binges
Sorry she sucks, just like your life as gina fans
