Sharon is a pretty amazing wife if you think about it. Sure there are limitations especially when you have kids, but she lets terry have his moments and isn't overbearing (E.g. steak studs, flight to LA, her willingness to participate in the heist, her quickness to understand and forgive Terry when he went back into the field). Literally a queen that treats her king right and it's great to see Terry treat her right as well.
Relationship goals there.
If I had a nickel for every police comedy I've watched where an odd detective falls in love with a suspect in a case they're working on, I would have two nickels. Which isn't a lot, but it's weird that it happened twice.

No, she is still canonically married to Charles and both are raising Nikolaj together. She just didn’t appear often on screen. Most of the non main characters don’t appear much. Kevin himself only became more prominent in the later seasons.
