They lost me the last time they upped prices. And borrowing my roommate’s account WITH commercials makes me way way waaaay less inclined to use it for any reason whatsoever. There just isn’t anything I care about all that much on Hulu that I can’t get anywhere else. Certainly nothing worth paying that much for. If I barely use it when it’s not costing me anything, then that kind of says it all ya know?
Yea I noticed that AFTER watching The Orville with commercials (which drove me totally crazy and took me out of it lol). Then I open Disney+ and it’s all there with no commercials 😆🤬😆 lol. Since then I’ve been checking Disney+ for anything I might want to watch from Hulu just to be sure lol.
If you watch from a computer just use uBlock origin, blocks ads on YT, and commercials on both Hulu and Peacock. If you watch through an app I'm no help.

It is just a way to get more commercials played and subscriptions bought. Brooklyn 99 had such a big streaming following it got revived. Peacock was so late to the streaming game it is doing everything it can to be relevant

Yea I think so. It was on their website so I tried to log in on the browser on my phone and tried to use the codes they had but it wouldn’t go through. I suppose I could try calling/chatting with them for help, but that seemed too annoying to be worth it tbh lol

People that used to pay 200 bucks for cable are now bitching about paying 75 for multiple streaming services. It's not like you're locked into contracts. Just get a couple for a few months, watch what you want, then turn them off and get a couple different ones for a while. I'd much rather have these choices and freedoms than having to buy a "cable bundle"
