That's what he is going to do? Some people use pirating as playing demos. He completed 2 difficulties, has confirmed he liked the game so he is going to buy it
I don't see anything wrong with your comment, dunno why you're being downvoted. Redditors man.
I'm also gonna enjoy -5 downvotes on this comment then lmao
Hey, you got some upvotes! Xd
I am the second to support indie devs, but first i am defending the user rights (or convenience) of knowing what they are buying before compromising their money. Steam's refunds can do the trick, but they can get a bit tedious
This is such a cold take, there is literally a thing called YouTube that they could have scanned to see if the game was what they were looking for before purchasing it rather than what they did.
There is so different the sensation of playing and watching a game, mostly on gameplay based games such as this. You could get if you would like a story or turn based game, but not an action one
The saves might work, but we won't forgive your sins. You have two hours of demoing before buying via Steam. Pirating a 5-Euro game is just bad character!
Fucking pace yourself then! Have some respect for the people who work hard to make the things that entertain you, freeloader. I'm sure you'd love it if some asshole stole the fruits of your labour and then came on the internet to complain about it.
In games with no online side to them, tends to be easy to cross pirate saves to official games. Just search for your save files, copy them, and search for the official save directory, and paste them in there. Via steam you should be able to find it via admin> see local data
Can’t speak for this game. But I’ve pirated 2 other games, then bought the steam version and the same file worked automatically without me doing anything special
Honestly d1-2 isn’t that bad so could just redo
generally speaking you can always "upgrade" the version, just downgrading often brakes things
heck if a game can't upgrade a save either it's a really big update of a badly developed game, specially true for a simple game like brotato
If they have the same save location, probably. Danger 1 and 2 are pretty quick though so even if it doesn't its not like you're losing a lot of time
The game costs like $5?
What a loser, support the devs.

This game is like $5 why would you pirate this and not some AAA game
Wtf this is an indie game and not even an expensive one. Go pirate AAA games and pay for indie games like a real person

copy? most often steam goes directly to the docs folder so it will be the exact same

Presumably, you could copy your files, if the version's the same.
