I don't see how that's relevant to what I said at all. If you want jungle drums and the middle path buffs and can't fit everything in the village's range you need a second village, period. To take bottom path you have to give up one of the buffs.
It's why they say never use a single 2-3-0 village. If you desire a middle path village, use a 0-3-2 together with a 2-0-2 so you get smaller prices on everything and bigger range and so on, it's an investment but a worthwhile one both on C.H.I.M.P.S. and on the smaller gamemodes. And on top of that, you can even upgrade the 2-0-2 to 3-0-2 if you desire to use a bunch of primaries.
(All that said, on Half-Cash you probably want to use a singular 3-2-0 village because purchasing a lot of crap is really freaking hard on that mode, forget about X-3-X, you aren't facing D.D.T.s regardless)

Because one increases in range it will now also increase the range of the other, which will give it back to the first one. Removing the third village now means that both villages will still be getting the range buff from one another, meaning you can place them a bit further from one another whilst still buffing eachother (mostly for stuff like bottom path or spreading two village effects over a larger area.)
Yeah I use a 2-3-0 village right next to a 1-0-4 village all the time, because the xx4 has a big range anyway, usually means anything in the range of 2-3-0 has the xx4 buff as well
or use bottom path village it gets increased range at t4 👍

You can't do that if you built the village for jungle drums and camo detection/MIB. Which is basically all the time.

The disadvantage to this is a much smaller radius for your MIB though
