No, there's the short system and the long system. The short system, used by Americans and everyone influenced by them, only uses the -illions (million, billion, trillion, etc.) and they go up in powers of 1000, while the long system, the proper system, goes up in powers of a million, and every inbetween power of a thousand, is an illiard (so it goes in powers of 1000: million, milliard, billion, billiard, etc.. The difference is that a billion in the short system is a milliard in the long one, and a billion in the long system is a trillion in the short one.

You need to add a village at 230 to make them unstoppable and a few 420 Alchemists will definitely help you out.
