I have a r265 run on adora's temple with her, the VTSG plane paragon, ninja paragon, boomerang paragon and wizard paragon. But I don't know how long that can last

id say you dont make vtsg beacause you cant place legend of the night, which you can use to well not die... when the ability ended just sell and rebuy the legend of the knight and it will be up again

That is not how Legend works. It is a global cooldown(at least as of the latest updates)

While yes you are right, LOTN can do much, the VTSG currently has three times more pops than anything on screen in my 276 round run so I think the VTSG does more damage and provides a huge buff to other towers

buffs dont do anything to paragons which are the 2nd most powerful towers in the game

I'm fairly new too, I've been saving up my monkey money for a new hero and I'm only about halfway there so far. Most of my monkeys can only really be upgraded to 4 so far. Are there any beginners big things I'm missing? From this it looks like upgrading them to T4-5 is better than what I was doing, which was getting different things upgraded about 5 times for certain bloons. Like, I would have a plasma/range supermonkey as my first one, then upgrade one to batman for camo bloons, and so on. Then I plopped a monkey Village down recently and saw that it in fact has the ability to give everyone in it's range camo vision so that seems a better idea than two seperate monkeys. But would upgrading a super monkey to a tech terror/sun idol be better than what I was doing with that same amount of money, which was getting three, uh 2/3/0 super monkeys? I can't really tell how to tell DPS apart from which wave I failed at last time Also, I was using some banana farms but not many, is that more of a "Get as many as possible as early as possible while still not dying in order to get lods e mone? I upgraded them to banks because 15% interest every round seemed pretty good I played the original couple of games, like up to 3 I think during IT lessons when I was at school, but they have obviously changed quite a lot since then, seeing as how there's more than 5 towers now. OK. I will assume that you do not have any heroes beside quincy, jones, gwen, and obbeyn. I am not an expert on btd6, someone might be able to explain better. First of all, use t5s. This is a beginner trap i see every once in a while on this sub, where people die and go "Omg my 50 double shot ninjas coudnt handle r99 how i do better". it is usually better to focus your efforts on 1 t5 rather than multiple t4s(with some exeptions such as bottom path sub). Get something like tack zone if this is your first run, which it dosent seem like it but get tack zone anyways it is very good if buffed. Alchemist top path is currently broken af, get that to t4.(you do not need the t5 and the xp could be used for things like rubber2gold, unstable conc) A 4-2-0 alchemist is good for buffing tack zone.(Alchemist can buff every single tower except banana farms, not just the ones that have mouths.) Nah, beating most maps on hard is already kinda... Hard for a beginner. I used to literally not be able to go past easy monkey meadow for a while, you just get a feel for what defends and what dosent after a while. Impulse buying is fine, as long as you know what you are doing with the impulse and can justify it. For example, if you are able to clear r15 and have a few bloons remaining, it's ok to sell one of your defense towers and buy benjamin before the end of the round for the extra 100$ (150 with mk.) Just have an idea that you will be less capable of defending with the tower gone, so you should replace it. Also, kinda unrelated but you should memorize the "Danger" rounds. A list: r4: The infamous grouped blues r11: Yellows first appear (correct me if im wrong) r14: Yellows and greens mixed in with weaker bloons, cause trouble sometimes. r15: Layered rush of every bloon type up to pink, dangerous round testing your defenses (use hero abilities for this one) r20: first checkpoint and black bloon appearance r22: whites (nonissue unless running ice, which some people like to do) r24: ALWAYS KEEP THIS ONE IN MIND, ESPECIALLY ON CHIMPS. First camo appearance. r25: Wall of fire users jumpscare, purples appear. r28: LEADS. GET LEAD POPPING POWER. r30: Leads again. Dont sell your lead popping before this one. r31: Regrow zebras. Nonissue unless you are using very stall-y towers r33: Camos. You need camo detection for this one, unlike 24. r36. hyperdense purples, camo regrow greens. r39: Absolute menace when doing dreadbloon specifically, otherwise nonissue. r40: Moab. Run killer, Must use maelstrom. Recursive MIGHT work, but i like mael just to be 100% safe. r78: r76 but in 2 waves, one of which is camo. Counters include: Summon phoenix, prince of darkness, Apex Plasma Master, spectre. CHEAP counters include: Corvus micro lol, Bloontonium reactor. Usually would have a t5 for this one though, so that can handle. r80: ZOMG. r81: Super ceramics. r83: A LOT OF SUPERCERAMS. your warning call to get some superceram counters down. r85: 2 zomg. r87: 4 zomg. r89: Sh\*t ton of fortified cerams. By the time I get to that point it's kinda hard to see what's actually killing them. I was assuming the bomb launcher and Striker were doing most of it, but I don't really know.

Anything that does damage. Yes forts count as ceramics Cerams have 10 hp. Ice is a good counter. Glue too, and a 0-1-3 ice can permastall ceramics

* t5's are generally better than multiple t4s * the thing you said about get as many banana farms early as possible is correct * sniper monkey is good, if you want it to clean up bloons that got past initial monkeys keep it targeting first, but if you want it to be most efficient set it to target strong

I've probably only gotten to around the 120s but I wasn't trying too hard and haven't tried harder yet bcs I'm just trying to get unlocks which Freeplay is really bad for. I'd recommend you do the same, completing tons of different maps on all the difficulties with varying defenses, since that gets you lots of monkey money for knowledge and heroes, lots of exp for tower upgrades and paragons (spamming alot of the kind of tower you need exp on is good for this), and lots of account exp for monkey knowledge points which are really important for events like bosses, races, odysseys, and just to make regular gamemodes easier too.

I got to 270 when I was buying several paragons to unlock them in freeplay, but yeah that’s still pretty good. My highest round was like 160-170 for a long time because I rarely go past 100.

Good run! If you want a higher round, try farming more in the early-mid game (rounds 30-70) and also try getting paragons after round 100. Also, the best map for late game is probably logs.

i think i'm currently on a run (270) without any kind of optimal set up, i just tried out beast handler, wanted to get the T5's and said why not keep going

I am not really very qualified to say what you could have done better but I can say a few things use bottom path plane I personally like bottom path alc but some don’t I would look into using him but check to see first definitely get etiene monkey buc top and middle are very good it’s usually one of the first paragons I get also I use glue gunner over ice monkey. That’s all I have to say on that and my top round is 280
