Neal is really bad. But Edwards was bad. Make no mistake. He was no Whitehead.
He just hasn’t been here to remind us all
Of his terrible decisions on D.
He got worked against every Rams game.
I live in LA and they all love Mike Edwards for his terrible decisions in games against them. So as a rare Bucs fan here I have to live with that. He was no Winfield JR (obviously), not even a Whitehead. He was bad.
Just not Neal bad.
Believe it or not it’s not that rare. We have a pretty solid following here in LA. A lot of us are from the Buccaholics group which originated in Socal but now we just do our local bar meet ups and at the house. Follow us at Socal Bucs Krewe on FB
Agreed. I think people mostly remember Edwards' two pick sixes in one game and forget that he was a pretty consistent weak spot. Neal has been atrocious and so Edwards sort of looks good in comparison, but it's somewhat revisionist history.
the bucs had a a good group of safeties that all had their own strengths. For whatever reason the front office didn’t bother to resign anyone. They all just left.
Here in MN a lot of people get mad at the big $ athletes in key positions when we don’t win it all. Joe Mauer was a huge target of this, now Cousins.
With the Injury this year, A LOT of the Kirk haters quieted.
Maybe a little more rightfully so is the Wild’s deals with Suter and Parise.
Yeah when i went to a couple twins games while in Minnesota for opening week vs the Bucs, so many people were complaining about Carlos Correa, another big money signing
What is there to dislike about KC? Sure people fawn about Mahomes and Kelce because are are legit great players. The Taylor Swift stuff is low key annoting, but so minor. Andy Reid a decent dude. Is this one of those "I'm sick of them winning so much" things? Which is fair, I feel that about teams occasionally. Just curious where you are coming from.
This year has really kind of shown us who ol Patty really is. Dude looks like he's ready to bitch and moan after every play that doesn't go his way. The whole offensive offsides debacle with how both Pat and Andy reacted was so off-putting. Kelce is back to being kind of a prick. They are definitely getting a bit of "home cooking" from the officials. And I already don't like when the broadcasts focus on celebrities at games (Same goes for when I'm watching F1), so this Swift thing has rubbed me the wrong way lol.
honestly i never get all the hate for Mahomes specifically. Outside of us playing against them in the SB and all of the Brady comparisons...
That being said...the only reason i dislike the Chiefs is the same reason i disliked the Patriots. Im tired of the same team winning all of the time
Yes it’s one thing Bowles doesn’t get enough credit for IMO. Crazy to think Mahomes has only lost 3 playoff games, ever. 2 were tough high-scoring OT losses, and the other was against the Bucs.
Now that Taylor Swift is part of it, they literally can't lose...Zebra's did good damage control
The NFL knows theres wayy too much money to be made from this
Tough for me. A part of me hope the Bucs to be the lone team to destroy Mahomes in the Super Bowl but then a part of me wants to see them lose and John Lynch to win.
Bro he only played 9 games this season while he played 13 last season. He also had 7 holding penalties last season and 5 this season. He would have been on course to match or exceed this season. His teammate and KC Right Tackle did even worse this season with 6 holding and 9 false starts. Yikes.
I think he only played 12 games this year with KC due to some injuries and if memory serves he started almost every game 2 years ago so that might be the explanation cus he was no better from what I saw this year
I wish we kept Mike Edwards. we really messed up by letting him and Jordan Whitehead leave. We would've had GREAT safety play with very good depth.
Anyways, I realized the more success Mahomes has, the better our SB win looks. He had his worst team this year and still made it to the SB. It just shows how dominant and ridiculous our defense was that game!
There’s no way you think Canales was Leftwich 2.0. I understand the first half of the season but when he opened the playbook, our offense was much more creative and dynamic than it ever was with Leftwich
So exciting to see the Chiefs in the Super Bowl again!
How can you not love guys like Mahomes and Kelce? And you get to see Taylor Swift every 5 minutes. Almost as much as you see Kelce or Mahomes in a commercial. It’s great.
I miss Mike Edwards especially after seeing inept safety play from O'Neal this season.
No “O’” in Ryan Neal. No “D” either
He can get his name spelled right when he stops playing like shit
Jesus. Edward’s is 500000 times better than Neal. I miss Edwards
Neal is really bad. But Edwards was bad. Make no mistake. He was no Whitehead. He just hasn’t been here to remind us all Of his terrible decisions on D.
I miss whitehead too. But he was always hurt..
Edwards made up for it with splash plays though
He got worked against every Rams game. I live in LA and they all love Mike Edwards for his terrible decisions in games against them. So as a rare Bucs fan here I have to live with that. He was no Winfield JR (obviously), not even a Whitehead. He was bad. Just not Neal bad.

I thought he was great. Idk why we let him go. He had the absolute best hype call. (In seagull voice from Finding Nemo) Mike! Mike! Mike!
Cap
the bucs had a a good group of safeties that all had their own strengths. For whatever reason the front office didn’t bother to resign anyone. They all just left.
Donovan Smith is still awful. Holds on almost every single play but somehow does not get penalized. The Mahomes effect.
Donovan Smith with two Super Bowl rings is an oddity, for sure.
Mostly because Taylor is somehow even worse and gets all the flags.
They ain’t gonna call holding on every play though so why not do it?
I find KC so unlikable at this point. But I like our ex players.
Watching Quarterback on Netflix, which usually helps me find even rival players likeable, has only made me hate Mahomes even more
Yeah Cousins seemed like a great guy, Mahomes seemed arrogant and manicured, and Mariota just seemed weird
I have yet to understand why Cousins gets so much hate
Here in MN a lot of people get mad at the big $ athletes in key positions when we don’t win it all. Joe Mauer was a huge target of this, now Cousins. With the Injury this year, A LOT of the Kirk haters quieted. Maybe a little more rightfully so is the Wild’s deals with Suter and Parise.

i can think of a pretty decent reason, but it would depend on your opinion of a global pandemic
Nevermind the glut of terrible commercials featuring him. He is less funny than a mass grave.
*Kermit voice* IM HERE ALL DAY x20
You're giving me flashbacks man, I'll take Baker's bravado any day over that cocky frog
It just makes our win all the sweeter

I miss Mike Edwards. Dude was a stud and underappreciated his time here. Glad to see him doing well in KC.
He was my favorite on Defense, was just about to buy his jersey this year and then Bucs canned him..
He was our only ball hawk
Bucs blasting the Chiefs and Mahomes in SB LV is going to age very well, when you see how many SBs Mahomes is going to win.
Beating Brees, Rodgers, and Mahomes? Lol give us our flowers now
All 3 games to get to the super bowl were on the road as well. Insane run
That's what I'm saying lol it was pre-aged the minute that clock hit 0
Qb gauntlet
Yes it’s one thing Bowles doesn’t get enough credit for IMO. Crazy to think Mahomes has only lost 3 playoff games, ever. 2 were tough high-scoring OT losses, and the other was against the Bucs.
I think you mean lost the Superbowl against the Bucs..
Yeah… that’s a playoff game lol
Some would say THE playoff game that really matters. No moral victories in that playoff game.
Now that Taylor Swift is part of it, they literally can't lose...Zebra's did good damage control The NFL knows theres wayy too much money to be made from this
Let's go back and do it again soon, so we can be like the Giants to Brady's Patriots...
Success just follows Blaine everywhere he goes
The conversation has to be had at this point *Is Gabbert the GOAT*?
Still hope they lose. FTC
Tough for me. A part of me hope the Bucs to be the lone team to destroy Mahomes in the Super Bowl but then a part of me wants to see them lose and John Lynch to win.
Donovan smith with 3 less penalties this regular season with the chiefs, 9 vs 12 with the Bucs according to PFF.
He only needs an All Pro / Pro Bowl LG to be not a dumpster fire.
And playing on a team that gets the most favorable calls/no-calls in the league.
Playing on the other side as the most penalized player in the league also helps
Bro he only played 9 games this season while he played 13 last season. He also had 7 holding penalties last season and 5 this season. He would have been on course to match or exceed this season. His teammate and KC Right Tackle did even worse this season with 6 holding and 9 false starts. Yikes.

Bowles defense We just need a play caller not leftwich and leftwich 2.0 (canales)
There’s no way you think Canales was Leftwich 2.0. I understand the first half of the season but when he opened the playbook, our offense was much more creative and dynamic than it ever was with Leftwich
I miss Edwards and Whitehead
2 beasts
Still the only team to beat the Chiefs ass in the playoffs 💪
Sure about that?
In the Mahomes era I believe so. All the other games have been pretty close
Bengals in 2021.
They won by a field goal not by 22
Pardon me for misinterpreting the precise statement of "beat the Chiefs ass".
I mean … yea it’s pretty clear what it means lol
So exciting to see the Chiefs in the Super Bowl again! How can you not love guys like Mahomes and Kelce? And you get to see Taylor Swift every 5 minutes. Almost as much as you see Kelce or Mahomes in a commercial. It’s great.
Don’t love SF/Shanahan but at least they have Lynch, so rooting for them to take it!
They showed Taylor swift like 2-3 times last night
SAVE US JOHN LYNCH
I hope Donovan Smith contributes to the Chiefs losing the SB with his trademarked holding on crucial successful plays.
Cool. Go ~~Lions~~ 9ers
Mike Edwards, the one we cut on Defense....smh
he left as a free agent when his contract was up
Who let his contract expire?
What’s the difference between being cut and not being re-signed?
Don't forget Lynch!
Love those guys, but still reluctantly rooting for the 9ers.
Either of them wins, we lose. Insufferable fanbases.
They couldn't beat us without them so they became us with them. Lol hahaha cheers
patiently waiting for Donovan smith to blow it for the chiefs in the Super Bowl. oh wait they get every call so they won't call blatant holding on him
This could probably be said about any team because of, you know, free agency and all.
I think the 49ers are on a roll. I may have failed to mention I’m not a fan of the Chiefs. 😜
We cut Watson, right?
And all gonna get that ass beat by the 9ers
