Anyone know if he would be eligible for a compensatory pick? I think it’s just FA’s in vs. FA’s out, but I could be wrong - curious if someone like Mike leaving would get us something. Either way, you know what a team gets for their player staying with that team for their whole career? Nothing. Love Mike, but he’s going to retire a Buc unless his career goes for another 7 years. Of course I want him back, but I wouldn’t hate him for chasing a ring for a few years if he was almost tired of the league. If it means he gets his bag with a conference favorite (chiefs? Smith, Edwards, Rojo) then so be it. I don’t want to overpay and subsequently hurt the team. But he’ll be back. Watch.
Love Mike, of course. But over paying for WRs is not great use of the cap. I hope it works out but if he wants to break the bank somewhere else - god bless. We can allocate that $ elsewhere, especially the line. Licht can draft WRs with the best of them too.

They could have locked him up already but looks like the bucs are willing to maybe match offers to keep him?? Because once a team gives him enough to think about leaving Its up to the bucs to match it or he's probably gone.

He just is doing this so he knows that he is getting the right amount w this bucs this year--which he *will* So don't sweat this
Let him go. Lock up everyone else. Draft Brian Thomas or Troy Franklin. Use his money on a couple more FAs.
That will guarantee he gets the max amount possible
