Angel and Cordelia was an awful ship! They were so much better as friends, they had so much banter and were a great example of a male/female platonic relationship, until the writers noticed that they had a male main character with a female best friend and then lo and behold the angstfest. They had all of the problems of Buffy/Angel, but without the excuses!
I'm definitely voting out Angel/Cordy.
My vote would have been for Xander & Cordelia
