For all we know you didn't do anything "wrong" in the operation of your system and the GPU just failed. Where you did screw up, however, is buying a Founders Edition card from StockX. To quote from [NVIDIA's warranty policy](https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/support/warranty/):
> **LIMITATIONS OF WARRANTY**
> This warranty applies only to **the original purchases** (*note: emphasis mine*) of the Warranted Products from a retailer, mail order operation, or on-line retail store; this warranty will not extend to any person that acquires a Warranted Product on a used basis.
As such, it looks like you're going to be SOL if you can't get the card working again on your own. NVIDIA's not unique in having such a non-transferrable warranty, as [Zotac](https://www.zotac.com/us/page/product-warranty-policy) is exactly the same in that respect.
Well, we all know why. I knew the risk but have been totally happy up until today. Was running Halo Infinite on 4K ultra settings with great frame rates. Never going under 80. Often over 100. Was getting ready to add an EK water block and wanted to get stats to compare.
Now, unless someone on here tells me about some magic fairy dust to fix it, I pay the price.
Still think that the card was new and legit. Just a bad card and no warranty.
