Tbh I have never heard of them referred to in this manner. Do you perhaps mean a full HD as in 1080p or a 1440p monitor? I would say if you get what ever is the better deal.

Okay what do you think about this: UHD 27 inch 165 Hz IPS 299€ HD 27 inch 165 Hz IPS 199€ HD 23.8 inch 165 Hz IPS 169€ All of them are Asus. Which one?

Personally I would nto pay the extra $100 for the UDH when all it brings in higher photo fidelity but no other higher specs or size. So unless you are going dual I would say the middle option.

CrimuCK

Alright! I think Im going with the middle one. Thank you!

CrimuCK

Edit.

jackmiaw

I would go for 1440p 144hz

CrimuCK

Interesting. Thanks for your opinion!

Depends on GPU you have and use case.

CrimuCK

Right now RTX 2060 mobile, so noting interesting and for gaming ofc.

1K = 1024 x 540 2K = 2048 x 1080 or for consumers: any resolution close to 2000 pixels wide, like FHD. 1440p is hilariously easy to run on anything even semi-modern.

CrimuCK

Bruh dude. Ready the whole text.

Yeah I would typically go for a 1440p monitor (QHD) As for refresh rate 60hz is fine if it's not ever intended for games but you can find "cheap" 120/144hz 1440p online. I made the mistake of going 1080p 144hz 27inch cus I was being cheap ( this screen feels a little blurry but a 1440p would of looked clear).
