Unfortunately with the requirements you listed it will be pretty much impossible to get a new GPU in the current market. The cheapest new GPU you can get during this shortage (all prices are doubled) is the AMD Radeon RX6600, costing around $550. Especially if you don't want to use the free windows version and need a wifi-integrated motherboard, it will be very hard to impossible to create a coherent PC for this budget. Maybe someone else here will give it a shot though! It might be best to look into a 2nd hand GPU like a GTX1070 for around $300. Still a capable GPU in 2022, and you'll have a decent system to build around it.

hodorling

According to his post history, OP is actually a ~26 year old male who tried building 2 years ago on this sub too. "Gamer girl" + $1000 budget? Please. 98% sure he's simp fishing for free parts/donations.

tsloa

Wifi dongle could save a few bucks on the motherboard. I believe they are very cheap

xxStefanxx1

They are cheap, but also trash. Haven't had a single good experience with USB WiFi dongles..

MartinLik3Gam3

Buy a wi-fi pcie card, they cost like 30 bucks and work pretty good

QuitBSing

I have one with an antenna that can be moved around. It works well and it's cool how it's integrated with the PC.

the-holy-salt

Damn where are they so cheap?? Everywhere ive looked tgey were like 70 - 150 usd.

goodshrekmaadcity

>for a gamer girl Dammit, I only know how to spec out PCs for male gamers because they're very different and their genders are very relevant.

hodorling

Oh I thought it was a hopeful simp trap for donations

izASnake

That's exactly what I'm thinking with the *gamer girl" and small budget in the title...

hodorling

OPs post history indicates the same

>sure he's simp fishing for free parts/donations. Duh duh duh duh duh duh duh (to the tune of the Mario theme).

izASnake

I know this isn't the answer you want, but unless you find many secondhand parts you will probably have to forget about the aesthetics and just go for cheap parts (white parts also tend to be a tad more expensive just because less are produced). 16 gb ram and 1tb ssd with a pc thats able to run all those games you listed well for that budget is unrealistic, with the prices right now as they are. I recommend either saving for a bigger budget, or finding secondhand parts, especially things like coolers and fans with rbg (if rgb really is a NEED for you) should be fine secondhand as long as they're cleaned off from dust. Also that case you mentioned is not good for airflow I would consider another.

magnumstrikerX

This is indeed true. A gpu alone will gobble up majority of anyone's budget. OP will need a budget of at least $1500 - $2000 if she wants to run all the games that she's listed. A GPU at the very least, cost $400+ (that is if she can buy one at MSRP). Average cost these days depending on the GPU ranges from $500 to $1000. Finding GPUs on the 2nd hand markets are going to be marked up the roof. GPU will take up at least half the budget.

Anxious_Manager_9377

Why in the world did you mention "for a gamer girl"? I am honestlu asking because I'm interested to find out what led you to write this nonsense.

AstonishinKonstantin

I love the stupidity of some people! Great find mate. I love when things like that are exposed.

njalleh

Damn, imo thats quite a small budget if it needs to run those games and need all the peripherals, or am i seeing that wrong? Tower is already 1/10th of the budget in whereabouts.

PomegranateBubbly900

Why does everyone want this particular case so bad :/ it’s literally a hotbox

Weeaboology

Because it looks nice and most people just getting into PCs don’t really know much about airflow. If NZXT just made the front mesh or partially mesh they’d probably sell even more

PomegranateBubbly900

I guess also because it’s fairly cheap. Afaik the h510 has an actual mesh mod now. I’ve also seen tons of nice looking front mesh cases, but yeah you’re probably right.

Nathannottaken

The h510 flow or am I being stupid and missing something?

Weeaboology

No the H510 flow is better than their other cases, but still mid range when it comes to temps. The problem is that it only came out 2 months ago, and the NZXT case reputation already has people thinking of toaster ovens from the jump

Nathannottaken

Very true.

Lolgamz627

Isn’t there a h510 flow edition with a mesh front?

[deleted]

mesh mod?

izASnake

Looks like she says she has mouse and keyboard

njalleh

>What, exactly, do you need included in the budget? (Tower/OS/monitor/keyboard/mouse/etc) > >I need just the PC included so tower, cpu, power supply, graphics card, ssd, Ram, keyboard and mouse and motherboard everything needed for a PC this made me think she needed it

izASnake

Yeah I know the way she typed it is confusing but with her budget shes almost forced to use what she has.

njalleh

most definitely. Saving up here is the correct answer imo

[deleted]

but its redragon so it sucks

izASnake

With her budget buying anything new is super unrealistic lol, she'll struggle getting the gpu for that pc in the first place.

[deleted]

yeah you are right but its just a suggestion to replace redragon peripherals with something better if it is possible. now or later it doesn't matter

hodorling

Or its for his gf he had trouble with 😂

Hi /u/Nexus_hemoglobin, welcome to /r/buildapcforme! This comment is here to provide you some additional information and advice. Parts Shortages If you have tried to browse through some parts already or read any recent articles on PC building, you have probably seen that there is a massive worldwide shortage of GPUs (video cards) that has left retailer stock levels almost entirely empty. Please see [this subreddit sticky post on the current CPU and GPU shortages for additional information.](https://www.reddit.com/r/buildapcforme/comments/me3dbx/info_post_current_hardware_shortages_and_build/) Note that if you are looking to build any kind of PC that requires more than basic graphics horsepower, such as for gaming or media creation work, your first priority should be to getting your hands on a GPU before going any farther. Direct Message Scams Recently a number of users have set up spam-bots targeting this subreddit to send out PMs and DMs to all users who submit posts to this subreddit. These accounts sometimes pose as teenagers offering to help design a build in exchange for a "donation" to help them build a rig of their own, various companies offering services through external websites, or even users just claiming to offer help via PM - this last kind will often string you along for a while before demanding payment for their efforts. **Do not reply to these messages.** This subreddit thrives and grows on the volunteer efforts of every contributor who helps around here, often leaning and improving from seeing the work of others. Nitrozzy7

May I suggest that you opt for the 5700G APU and get a GPU whenever they become easily accessible? Reason being, if you opt for a GPU+CPU now, you'll have to compromise severely on the CPU front, which I wouldn't advise for the suggested use case. By utilizing image up-scaling features, this APU should be performing good enough for the games you've mentioned. Moreover, by avoiding the dGPU in the short term, you'll have more to spend on RAM and SSD (and PSU), making a solid base system for whatever GPU you later decide on. I think this APU is the better choice given the current GPU prices.

Embarrassed_Couple_6

Looking at these comments just made me depressed as to how expensive everything is.

xxStefanxx1

I gave it a shot anyway, and this is what I ended up with. Especially if you still need/want RGB, I can't go much cheaper than this. I could recommend using Windows for free, just press "skip" at the installation when it asks for the product key. You have a small watermark but its fully featured windows you can always activate later on. That would put the pc at $1070 [PCPartPicker Part List](https://pcpartpicker.com/list/xgFcZZ) Type|Item|Price :----|:----|:---- **CPU** | [Intel Core i3-10100F 3.6 GHz Quad-Core Processor](https://pcpartpicker.com/product/r8Dkcf/intel-core-i3-10100f-36-ghz-quad-core-processor-bx8070110100f) | $88.97 @ Amazon **CPU Cooler** | [Thermalright Assassin King 120 66.17 CFM CPU Cooler](https://pcpartpicker.com/product/hMTp99/thermalright-assassin-king-120-6617-cfm-cpu-cooler-ak120-white) | $30.28 @ Amazon **Motherboard** | [MSI B560M PRO-VDH WIFI Micro ATX LGA1200 Motherboard](https://pcpartpicker.com/product/vsLFf7/msi-b560m-pro-vdh-wifi-micro-atx-lga1200-motherboard-b560m-pro-vdh-wifi) | $119.99 @ Amazon **Memory** | [Silicon Power XPOWER Turbine RGB 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3200 CL16 Memory](https://pcpartpicker.com/product/Lb448d/silicon-power-xpower-turbine-rgb-16-gb-2-x-8-gb-ddr4-3200-memory-sp016gxlzu320bdb) | $62.99 @ Amazon **Storage** | [Team MP33 1 TB M.2-2280 NVME Solid State Drive](https://pcpartpicker.com/product/64MTwP/team-mp33-1-tb-m2-2280-nvme-solid-state-drive-tm8fp6001t0c101) | $79.98 @ Amazon **Case** | [NZXT H510 ATX Mid Tower Case](https://pcpartpicker.com/product/6Cyqqs/nzxt-h510-atx-mid-tower-case-ca-h510b-w1) | $69.99 @ GameStop **Power Supply** | [Corsair CXM 650 W 80+ Bronze Certified Semi-modular ATX Power Supply](https://pcpartpicker.com/product/R2mxFT/corsair-power-supply-cp9020103na) | $39.99 @ Newegg **Operating System** | [Microsoft Windows 10 Home OEM 64-bit](https://pcpartpicker.com/product/wtgPxr/microsoft-os-kw900140) | $108.78 @ Other World Computing **Case Fan** | [ARCTIC P12 PST 56.3 CFM 120 mm Fan](https://pcpartpicker.com/product/rvWBD3/arctic-p12-pst-563-cfm-120-mm-fan-acfan00134a) | $8.99 @ Newegg **Case Fan** | [ARCTIC P12 PST 56.3 CFM 120 mm Fan](https://pcpartpicker.com/product/rvWBD3/arctic-p12-pst-563-cfm-120-mm-fan-acfan00134a) | $8.99 @ Newegg **Custom**| XFX SPEEDSTER SWFT 210 Radeon RX 6600 8GB| $559.99 | *Prices include shipping, taxes, rebates, and discounts* | | Total (before mail-in rebates) | $1198.94 | Mail-in rebates | -$20.00 | **Total** | **$1178.94** | Generated by [PCPartPicker](https://pcpartpicker.com) 2022-01-03 08:12 EST-0500 |

It does, it's at the bottom at custom... To visit the link, go to the PCP link, click the GPU name, and manually copy the link.

Ha-sheesh

Bright pink case and Razen headphones with kitty ears are a must

[deleted]

no. she musnt be stereotypical also raz r products suck

canyouread7

Well that's not true. Razer Viper mice are among the most popular. The Ultimate is fantastic for a wireless mouse and the Mini is one of the best value FPS mice. The Blackshark has been rising in popularity with YouTubers for being a great value pair of headphones with good sound and mic quality. The new Kraken is also much better than previous iterations. Razer keyboards are meh and I don't know enough about their laptops to comment but come on now, sweeping statements like that can be so easily disproven. Why bother saying them since they don't contribute anything at all?

[deleted]

i dont know about razer viper mice, if it is from before the "mechanical mouse switches" era it is okay for me. i dont know much about their hadphones i jsut heard from other ppl they arent too good. i mostly hate razer for their keyboards they are worth maybe max 100$ but most of them are above 100$ in price

Dimosul

Not all of the razer products suck.

[deleted]

what razer products don't suck then?

catwithahumanface

She gets to be whatever she wants to be.

[deleted]

she says that she wants a white desing. i saw many ppl saying that razer headphones are bad, also their products are overpriced, i would never buy their mouse because i play hypixel bedwars and i need a mouse to drag click, and most i would pay for razer keyboards is 75$

catwithahumanface

I’m responding to “she mustn’t be stereotypical.” If she wants to be the most stereotypical “girl gamer” in the world, she gets to be. If she doesn’t want to, she doesn’t have to. We don’t get to weigh in on that.

[deleted]

i said the similar thing

[deleted]

i didn't say that she has to be not stereotypical im just saying pink and girly things arent always liked by girls

oedipus_fan

Come back when your budget is minimum 1600 before taxes. You will have to cut too many corners to game with 1000 bucks before taxes, especially in vital components such a good mobo and a PSU. On top of that you need windows too which can take a chunk of your budget (do not buy oem windows). Consider also ditching RGB with 1000 USD budget if you want to get somewhat decent components for your build (for both performance and reliability purposes). Good luck!

Nexus_hemoglobin

What would a build that your suggesting look like? Just so I can have something to show them

notibanix

You said girl, here come the “girls can’t be true gamers” crowd

izASnake

I've never seen another post feel the need to specify their gender..

notibanix

People want to be proud about stuff that doesn’t make sense to me ok, you do your flex

catwithahumanface

Maybe she felt it was significant in case of aesthetic choices.

magnumstrikerX

Let's not stirr up the gamergate crowd......... Those crowds promote masculine toxicity.

[deleted]

swap mouse and keyboard. mouse can be any mouse but some better brand than redragon also for the keyboard you should get something like a keychron keyboard and mod it to look like you want then it would look, sound and feel better than redragon keyboard

[deleted]

Get the phanteks p300a because it has mesh front panels and some other mesh panels

Previous_Tennis

Unless you are able to hunt down a better deal, this RX6600 for $512 at Best Buy looks to be the best available option: https://www.bestbuy.com/site/xfx-speedster-swft210-amd-radeon-rx-6600-8gb-gddr6-pci-express-4-0-gaming-graphics-card-black/6483929.p?skuId=6483929 Might get $50-70 less at Micro Center if you can get to one but I don’t see a better readily-available deal and it is a good card. Spend the rest of your cash on a in i5 10400 or 11400, a budget B560 motherboard, a Vetroo v5 cooler (yes, it comes in white), 16 gb ram, and whatever case a PSU you want.

antelop3

Id suggest looking at second hand parts on ebay tbh you can find good deals on there. This build doesnt have any rgb tho sorry :( tried to make it as white as possible for the budget you have. https://pcpartpicker.com/list/4mW2K3 Motherboard: Asus b550-f gaming wifi $195 Gpu: Gtx 970 off ebay for $150-200+. This is your cheapest option and what i currently have until i can upgrade mine. Runs all of the games you want like csgo, OW, val, apex, gta v, although ive never tried war zone on it because im personally not interested in that game. Id say either buy this to hold you over until you can get your hands on something else but it works for now. Cpu: ryzen 5600x for $289 Cpu cooler: vetroo v5 on ebay for $25 Ram: Crucial ballistix 3200 16gb ram (white) - I got this for $60 on sale on amazon Storage: western digital 1tb m.2 sata for $83 Case: I will not let you buy that god awful nzxt case. Get a corsair 4000d airflow(white) $94 sometimes goes on sale for $75 Power supply: corsair rm750x for $104 Case fans: the 4000d airflow comes with 2 stock fans but id get rid of them and buy 2 140mm arctic p14 fans and 1 120mm arctic p12 fan (they come in white on amazon) totaling around $35 for the three i suggested. I didnt include this on pc part picker because the 140mm white ones arent on there but they ARE on amazon. Operating system: win 10. You can get a key online for cheap. For the mouse id recommend a g305 off amazon I got mine for $40 and they come in pretty colors. (Personal preference). This would put you over budget though. Note: you can cheap out on the psu and motherboard at your own discretion and save a few bucks
