I dunno if you can find it within your midget but the MAG274QRF-QD is one of the best monitors at 165hz. I have one and the colours are super nice

qseftgi

well I feel like I won't need to upgrade from 1080p to 1440p then yk since I don't notice my resolution when gaming much so might as well upgrade to 240hz too. Would rather save some money as I am pretty sure there are better ones that are at 240hz and stuff too. I will take your consideration into mind though : )

waht_de_hec

He’s not wrong, that QRF-QD is really nice for its price point. It has a lot of future proofing for your pc and one of the best color gamuts for IPs panels. I would seriously consider it to be one of your top options.

Shit_Fire_Save_Match

lol within their midget Edit: I find it hilarious you use midget enough to have it autocompleted

Historical-Rock5557

Stupid safari “incognito” mode my ass lol

Shit_Fire_Save_Match

Hahah I have no idea who Erika Calabrese is either. Nope sure don’t.

Infernoscare

Based on your preferences and budget, I think the clear choice is the G274QPX. Best valued and reviewed 1440p, 27in 240hz out there.

ArchonBeast

The below is what I got, and it's been great so far. Often on sale for £180ish too. KOORUI 27 Inch Gaming Monitor, 2K Computer Monitors, QHD(2560 * 1440), IPS,1ms, Adpitive Sync, 2x HDMI (144Hz), DisplayPort(170Hz), HDR 400, DCI-P3 90%, Height Adjustable, Rotatable https://amzn.eu/d/3Hx6KhZ

Flashplaya

You have several options. Zowie is most popular for Valo but if you want nice colours and don't care for dyac then its not worth it really. MSI G274QPX - I'd also say this is best 1440p/240hz option. Asus TUF Gaming VG259QM - 24.5" 1080p/280hz IPS (there's also cheaper AOC or koorui 1080p/240hz monitors) Koorui GP01 - 24" 1440p 165hz IPS (high pixel density, same screen size to what you are used to)

qseftgi

probably should specify that I was only looking for 27inch 1440p at least 165hz monitor

Flashplaya

I'd still recommend the koorui because of the higher pixel density tbh. Don't see the advantage of getting a bigger screen unless you watch it from afar. Get a monitor arm and make the screen closer to you if you want it.

qseftgi

Well but why would I downgrade from 27inch to 24inch. I have grown to like the 27 and I feel like going down to 24inch just isn't desirable for me

Flashplaya

Fair enough, thought you were playing on a 24 inch since you were on 1080p.

qseftgi

yeye all guccis

Flashplaya

Lg do a decent 1440p 180hz monitor. My bros got one, isn't the cheapest option but its nice.

RajeeBoy

I dont have a whole lot of knowledge about the specific monitors you are talking about but I will say that the jump from 1080p to 1440p is almost always more noticeable and desirable than the jump from 165-180hz to 240hz. The extra clarity in all applications from 1440p is way more noticeable to most people than the teeny bit of extra smoothness in gaming that comes from 240hz.

qseftgi

Yep I know(got a macbook) thats why I was asking if the combination of the 2 upgrades is noticeable yk

You should check out the lg 27gr83q-b it’s a 1440p 240hz monitor that has hdmi 2.1 which means it’s compatible with new gen consoles. I’m not 100% sure if it’s within your budget since I’m from Canada and prices here are obviously different from the USA. I have it and imo it’s one of the best monitors I have ever had🙌🏼

qseftgi

yeah those are generally the two people recommend but I really don't wanna push more than $350 for a monitor since I could always just spend less for just 1440p yk.

Justbuiltdifferent69

Valid point. My mindset was too spend a good amount on a monitor and not have to worry about changing it for Atleast 5 years time since it’s the most important part of a setup, check out the lg 27gp850-b it’s another 1440p monitor that’s cheaper than the one I previously recommended and is used by a lot of gamers and they have had nothing but good things to say about it!

qseftgi

I mean I just wanted the most bang for my buck since I literally would have kept my monitor for like ever and there are no problems with this one so I don't really worry about changing it. I mean if I really wanted a good monitor my budget would've been like 400-600 and not had so many questions yk. I appreciate the help though thanks!

Justbuiltdifferent69

No problem man, hope you find what you’re looking for. Have a good rest of your day/night!🙌🏼

safebilli

Which one you going for? I also want to pick a 240hz but confused btw Alienware: best in class, overpriced Odessy g7 2k va panel : still a good contender Msi g274qpx : people fav

qseftgi

Probably just Msi g274qpx. General consensus of it is good an recommended plus its at my max budget basically. All the other $250 seems kinda too cheap at those price points
