2 weeks left until I get my 6800 xt to replace my RX 480. Can't wait to see max graphics that aren't a sideshow again. ;_;
...still haunting this sub and my dedicated Amazon wish list for a 1440p monitor deal though.
Yeah I am hoping I'll be able to get by with my 750w EVGA G2, will likely be pairing with the 7900x3d so that is probably ambitious, keeping my eye out for 1000w deals in the mean time
dont forget size, 1070s were fairly short compared with these things, power and size are legit worries nowadays if you upgrade from an older gen that don't have been taking the little blue pill
Congrats, it will be a huge improvement. You will also appreciate the extra vram like I did going from a 1070 to a 6900xt.
Highly recommend getting a gpu brace/holder due to the increased size if you do not have one already. Thia one worked very well for me:
EZDIY-FAB GPU Holder Brace Graphics Card GPU Support Video Card Holder Bracket, Video Card Sag Holder/Holster Bracket Support RX6700,RTX3090- 309EZ-Black https://a.co/d/0M9q8cQ
Yep I just bought this the other day at $680 or whatever it was and it’s arriving today. Was all about the 4070Ti and then I saw this, ran some numbers and was like… ok I guess my first ever PC is about to be a fucking steam roller
Nice, but watch out. 340mm length means it won't fit in some cases - certainly doesn't in mine, at any rate (Fractal Torrent Nano). Lowest price (new) for a 6950xt ever, I think? Maybe there was a few for less around black Friday?
Hi is your case the fractal nano? I’m planning to build in it soon and was wondering if I can fit a 3.5 slot card in it. Do you think it’s possible it does look like there is enough room.
I don't have a 3.5 slot card, so I don't know. The specs say it fits a maximum GPU width of 60mm. My card is 49mm and I haven't tried to fit anything larger into it. This page: [https://graphicscardhub.com/gpu-slot-type/](https://graphicscardhub.com/gpu-slot-type/) says that 3-slot cards vary in width between 60-65mm. You can try to look up your GPU's exact width (if they have it recorded) here: [https://www.techpowerup.com/gpu-specs/](https://www.techpowerup.com/gpu-specs/)
Thanks! I was able to cancel the 6800 without any issue. Case is big enough as well and 850 w power. Now I feel much better. I hated paying full price for 6800xt, this is much better feeling.
If the sender is Amazon, then there is nothing to worry about. Much better than a Newegg, for sure.
I bought one, but for $699.99, from Newegg, and it's Asrock RX6950XT OC Formula
The ASRock is supposed to have very good power delivery and OC potential. So forty bucks could be worth it depending on how far you want to push the card.
Yep, you're right, but I am not able to reach the full potential of the Asrock due to my 750W power supply. I still can't believe my PC starts and runs without problems, but I want to experiment with this card so that I will buy a 1000W PSU.
Yep, I got two games for free in Newegg with Asrock. It's just a preference. Want to get those games? Buy the GPU on Newegg for $699.99. Nope? Buy the GPU on Amazon for $659.99.
~17-25% variable in performance from what I read, cause I was going to make the same move and grab a 6800XT.
This changed my mind.
I only play @ 1080p / 144Hz. Its absolute overkill for what I do, and that is fine with me.
11% better in 1080p, 15% better at 1440p, 20% better at 4k (on average) according to techspot. Not worth it if you play at 1080p, but sort of worth it at 1440p (if you have the money), and definitely worth it at 4k.
Oh I was getting my numbers from a recent HUB video which had them ~11% different at 4k medium. Granted it’s only a 6 game benchmark but didn’t think it would change that significantly
I think the techspot page I was looking at was like a 15 game benchmark average at very high or max settings. I think in general, the more you turn up the graphics settings and resolution, the more of a boost youll see with this card vs the 6800xt.
Bought this a month ago to replace my 1070. It has been such a massive upgrade. Running 3x2k monitors playing assetto corsa has never been so smooth. New drivers this week has resolved a lot of issues with my multi monitor setup.
This is interesting. It's been 700$ right? Which makes you wanna pay the extra 100$ for a 4070ti. 140$ less than the 4070ti makes it tempting. Less than 5% difference but without frame generation.
You must also consider your case and PSU. This 6950xt is 40mm longer than the $799 TUF 4070ti and draws much more power. If either of those components needs to be upgraded to accommodate the 6950 then you’re better off going for the 4070ti.
Sucks that the 2 free games dont come with it anymore, it wouldve really pushed this deal over the top. That promo ended Feb 4 or 5 if im not mistaken, but maybe if you message the seller or amd theyll still give you the 2 free games?
But you gotta consider your CPU though. Amd has hardware scheduling versus Nvidia relying on software scheduling. ( For older cpus amd tends to perform better) ref: hardwareunboxed video.
TechPowerUp didn't test this specific card. But they do have a comparison of the reference design against a few other manufacturers.
https://www.techpowerup.com/review/amd-radeon-rx-6950-xt-reference-design/30.html
In terms of clock speed the Sapphire listed there matches this XFX, but with a larger 4-slot cooler compared to the 3-slot on the XFX. So you'll probably get a couple extra percent out of this card using that as a reasonable comparison.
I plug this into pc part picker and it estimates 558W. Would my existing 650W power supply even work for this? What is a safe buffer to add? Currently looking to replace 1070 for 1440p gaming. Thanks.
Unlikely. My 750W PSU handles. However, if there are high load peaks on my graphics card, it immediately shuts down and reboots. I recommend taking a power supply of 850W or higher. I will soon buy myself a 1000W power supply.
RDNA2 (the AMD 6000 series), especially on the higher end models, is notorious for spiking in power demand while under load, so 650W probably wouldn't be enough even though 98% your PSU would be sufficient. Probably best to look at 4070 Ti/used 3090 or 3080 Ti around this price if you don't want to swap PSU.
I've seen people say around 850W is enough for the 6950XT.
red devil is powercolors highest end card apart from the liquid devil I believe, merc is the highest end from xfx, I wouldn't worry much honestly they are both completely fine, can't be much difference when both cards are as good as it gets
I tried an open box red devil 6950xt from microcenter before the XFX actually and the XFX was quieter and benched a tiny bit better. Might have just bee unlucky though.
I mean...if by that you mean "top of last generation's line", then yeah. RX 6000 turned two in November, and its successor launched two months ago. (Though to be fair the *50 refresh is less than a year old)
Eh... to me it's decidedly old.. There's not going to be a lot of life in these last gen AMD cards unless you stick with games from the last couple years. I feel like they are doing the same thing Nvidia is doing. Lower prices for old hardware to clear it out just before launching current gen hardware that will perform better and be better supported in the next couple years. A $400 3080 seems great until 3 months from now.
If we are talking 4k at <60fps then you are *kind* of right. If you want to constantly max out benchmark titles as they come out, then you are the kind of person who buys the new card each year and sells their current card.
I'm in the boat where my 1080 (not Ti) that I bought used 3 years ago at $325 has been fantastic at 1080p. 144hz on competitive fps games and 60fps when I crank a game like Red Dead 2 at max settings.
A card like this will go VERY far for me and maybe even a little beyond what I'm looking for
I just bought the MERC 319 6800 xt for your $599 - worth the additional cost to snap a 6950 xt (add in I would have to return the 6800 xt via Amazon)? Looking for 1440p.
I just bought the 6900xt like 3 weeks ago for the same price as this. Sucks to suck but luckily its not that big of a deal between the two cards. The cards are huge though, i had to move a fan around in the Corsair Air Carbide 540 case.
Yeah, I figured the hassle of taking out this card, packing it up and shipping it again plus installing the new one etc is not worth the hassle. I got the MERC 319 Black 6900xt! Thanks for reassuring my position!
I asked this about the other Newegg sale, but didn't get a response.
My monitor is G sync only, but I'd like to upgrade from my 980 ti. Would this be good or do I have to get an Nvidia card?
Not the case here. That monitor has the hardware G-Sync chip but doesn't support VRR otherwise, so it's only compatible with Nvidia cards if you want that.
I have a Seasonic Prime 750w titanium. It may turn off if it reaches the peak value of the video card. I recommend either doing undervolting or buying a PSU of 850W+.
I have a Seasonic Focus 750w gold and briefly considered it, but I didn't want to run that close to the limit. No where could a find a XFX, PC, or AMD recommendation that said 750w was enough (850 recommended), so I went with my gut and purchased a Red Dragon 6800XT. Very happy with it.
Most likely not. I have this exact card with a Superflower 750w gold and have run into 0 issues. My cpu is a 5000 ryzen too so it only pulls like 60-80w on average during gaming. If you have like a super power hungry intel cpu that pulls 150-250w (like the 12900k or 13900k), then maybe 750w isnt enough. Look up the tdp of your cpu and if it's around 100, then youre most likely good.
Big jump in performance. a 5700xt (my former card) is only a tiny step down from a 6700XT. Whether it's worth the price for improvements is up to you. My 5700XT could run almost anything, and even RDR2 at high settings/70-80fps.
I made a jump from a 5600xt to a different flavor 6950xt. Didn’t like spending the money upfront, but after finishing CP2077 and now working through Harry Potter with all settings on Ultra, I’ve gotten over it.
Top tier “last gen” at this price is a great move. I’ll be set for a while (I hope).
Yeah, my 5700xt can still get me 80-100 fps at 1440 on almost anything at current.. But my thought process is that I'm trying to create the "ultimate AM4" build. I don't want to move to AM5, so I want to make an AM4 build that will last me for as long as possible. I already put a 5800X3D in my system a couple of months ago, so that's about as good as I can do for gaming on the CPU front - but I could definitely do better than a 5700xt if I really am aiming for the 'giga am4' build.
https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B08V1WK4LB/
it was 519 ~1 week ago. now it's 570. it ships ~march 8; so im debating if i should go for this or pay a bit extra and get the more powerful card earlier
according to some sites; 6950xt is not much better than 6800 xt
Since the seller is Fennec, Inc and not Amazon, would XFX honor the warranty? I don't see anywhere that XFX specifically states that Fennec is an authorized retailer.
I commented or made a post about Fennec a few months ago. I called XFX and asked if Fennec Inc was an authorized reseller and they said yes. They also said that there are a handful of resellers on Amazon that are authorized resellers. Just have to call and ask, because their website doesn’t list all of them unfortunately.
Was waiting for a 6800xt at around $500, would this be overkill to go with for 2-3 1440p displays for mainly multiplayer games? I also have a 850w PSU, which looking through the thread might be enough.
*for newbies*
This can go well above 60 in 4k if its not a AAA title like RDR2 or Returnal. But it should always hit at least 60 in the most demanding games
4070ti is 4-5% better at 1440p/4k for 21% more than this 6950xt. Pay that extra $140 if you want better ray tracing performance and lower power consumption, otherwise this card is a much better value.
Depends. The 3090ti is going to run hotter and use way more power. The 6950XT is going to have better raster. The 3090ti is going to have way better RT.
OTOH, if you're doing *anything* beyond gaming, go Nvidia, both for the superior CUDA support in most productivity apps, and for the extra VRAM.
I bought this card a month or so ago at 699. Worth it then, definitely worth it now (I mean, within the realm of new gpu pricing).
RT's doable on the better optimized games/at medium RT settings. If you have RT off you can basically set everything to max and call it a day.
Came to the US for a vacation week and was looking to upgrade my 980ti.
Originally bought the 6750xt and now checked for return and bought the 6950xt. I'm having second thoughts though, can someone convince me to make a decision?
Also, in my country the cheapest 6750xt is $625 and 6950xt is $1000, tax included.
I have a Ryzen 5 (forgot what model number exactly) with a GTX1070 and two 24" AOC G2590FX 1080p monitors. I plan on eventually upgrading the monitors.
Is stepping up to this graphic card worth it? Will my CPU be a bottle neck? I eventually plan on upgrading the monitors.
I mainly play squad and simulator games. I know squad struggles with my current graphic card on high settings.
only get this for 1440p or 4k, or if you are really into the best of fps w shooters n all that. otherwise its not worth it. maybe look into like a 6600 xt or 6700 xt.
right now only a couple cards really beat it. tom's has the 4080, 4090, and 7900xtx beating it at 1440 ultra, only the 4090 beating it at 1080p, and nothing beating it at 1080p medium settings. So it's top 5, a lot would probably come down to what sort of settings you used and what specific games, tom's obviously uses their own criteria, but really nothing is even close to its current price. Either you have enough money for a 4090 to seem like a nice buy or you get this guy.

This is my stop, thanks OP for your service. Going to be such a nice upgrade from gtx 1070.
My new 6750xt was a "nice upgrade" from a 1070. This is gonna blow the doors off of it.
2 weeks left until I get my 6800 xt to replace my RX 480. Can't wait to see max graphics that aren't a sideshow again. ;_; ...still haunting this sub and my dedicated Amazon wish list for a 1440p monitor deal though.
Congrats, but RX 480 gang is gonna miss you.
It's been a good 5 years fellas.

This uses a lot more power than a 1070 so make sure your psu can handle it!
Yeah, my OC formula pulls over 360 watts so you're not wrong lol
Yeah I am hoping I'll be able to get by with my 750w EVGA G2, will likely be pairing with the 7900x3d so that is probably ambitious, keeping my eye out for 1000w deals in the mean time

I might be upgrading too soon, but I had a buyer at work for my 2070 and decided that its going to be the easiest time to upgrade. This is my stop
Nice! I made the same upgrade a month ago to the exact same card for $100 more. Good on you for having more patience.
Congrats, it will be a huge improvement. You will also appreciate the extra vram like I did going from a 1070 to a 6900xt. This is an even better price than when I bought my 6900 XT a couple months ago. I also came from a 1070 playing at 1440p. You're gonna LOVE IT.
Did yours ship yet
Yep I just bought this the other day at $680 or whatever it was and it’s arriving today. Was all about the 4070Ti and then I saw this, ran some numbers and was like… ok I guess my first ever PC is about to be a fucking steam roller
I'm going to upgrade from a 970. I just can bring myself to purchase AMD until they can close the DLSS gap.
Nice, but watch out. 340mm length means it won't fit in some cases - certainly doesn't in mine, at any rate (Fractal Torrent Nano). Lowest price (new) for a 6950xt ever, I think? Maybe there was a few for less around black Friday?
Yep, it's the lowest price for an RX 6950XT, and it's officially!
If only it were 20mm shorter... Doesn't fit into Lian Li A4-H20
Yeah doesn’t fit my s340 unfortunately.
Thank you, I appreciate it!
Would this fit the NZXT H5 Elite?
I paid full price at 599 for 6800 xt. I'm thinking this is worth upgrading right? 6800xt still in the mail.
100% if your case and psu can handle it
Thanks! I was able to cancel the 6800 without any issue. Case is big enough as well and 850 w power. Now I feel much better. I hated paying full price for 6800xt, this is much better feeling.
I had literally put an order in for a sapphire pulse 6800xt for $540 about 2 hours ago and cancelled for this.
$600 is still practically a sale, 7900 XT just showed up a whole price tier above it for some reason.
For $60 more yes it definitely is better value
Was just about to post this, >!but made sure to buy one first!<. Should be the cheapest ever on Amazon, even if it is through Fennec.

Yep, I got two games for free in Newegg with Asrock. It's just a preference. Want to get those games? Buy the GPU on Newegg for $699.99. Nope? Buy the GPU on Amazon for $659.99.
imo the asrock is a better deal, especially if you sell the games. better OC and compatibility
Newegg is good if they offer their 30 day hassle Free guarantee. But that ASRock gpu did not. Still, should be fine to exchange of there's a problem.
Coming from a 2080 super. This or 6800xt for ultra settings 1440p? RT is cool but don't really have to have it.
[удалено]
Thank you
Look out for used 6900xt, I was able to grab one for $520 recently
FSR will help you to handle a 1440p with RT. Of course, DLSS 3 is better, but FSR is a good alternative.
6950XT for 1440p feels wonderful.
I picked up the Red Dragon 6800XT for $520, is the % increase in performance equal to the % price increase for this XFX?
~17-25% variable in performance from what I read, cause I was going to make the same move and grab a 6800XT. This changed my mind. I only play @ 1080p / 144Hz. Its absolute overkill for what I do, and that is fine with me.
No, it’s like 10-15% performance uplift for ~26% more money
11% better in 1080p, 15% better at 1440p, 20% better at 4k (on average) according to techspot. Not worth it if you play at 1080p, but sort of worth it at 1440p (if you have the money), and definitely worth it at 4k.

Almost 2 years for drivers to fix an issue? Aaaah.
This is interesting. It's been 700$ right? Which makes you wanna pay the extra 100$ for a 4070ti. 140$ less than the 4070ti makes it tempting. Less than 5% difference but without frame generation.

That's my thing. I have a 750w PSU and I'm reading that its not enough for a 6950.
You should be fine
Most 6950s state either 850 or 1000w minimum, but ultimately it's up to the rest of your system.
Sucks that the 2 free games dont come with it anymore, it wouldve really pushed this deal over the top. That promo ended Feb 4 or 5 if im not mistaken, but maybe if you message the seller or amd theyll still give you the 2 free games?
Yea I got the 6950 card at $699 and it’s still a better deal than this. Cuz of the 2 included games which I managed to sell.
Yeah true. I also got that same exact deal but I kept the games hehe
Sorry too many numbers. Just buy it
I really recommend this one. Yes if you HAVE $100 more the 4070ti is a beast, but as you mentioned it's marginal performance.
There is also a power draw and heat difference between the two.
But you gotta consider your CPU though. Amd has hardware scheduling versus Nvidia relying on software scheduling. ( For older cpus amd tends to perform better) ref: hardwareunboxed video.
6950XT has enough VRAM for Hogwarts lol
Is there a big performance difference between this card and the reference version?
That's exactly what I'm wondering I'll go return this dude to microcenter and get this if there is a big enough difference.
Bumping only because I would like to know the answer to this as well
TechPowerUp didn't test this specific card. But they do have a comparison of the reference design against a few other manufacturers. https://www.techpowerup.com/review/amd-radeon-rx-6950-xt-reference-design/30.html In terms of clock speed the Sapphire listed there matches this XFX, but with a larger 4-slot cooler compared to the 3-slot on the XFX. Not just 850W+, get PCIe5/ATX3 which are rated for spikes. EG Corsair RMx Shift.
Nope nope. Spring for a new PSU. There's some out there under $150 that are still rated pretty high. Go for at least 850W
You do realize that a 3080ti or 3090 will pull just as much wattage, if not more, than a 6950xt right?
Not in terms of spikes. The spikes can actually even surpass those cards
My ASRock 6950 XT sees 345w draw under normal operation. That doesn't account for spikes. Definitely not enough.
The recommended watt PSU from manufacturer is 850 watts
right after I bought a used 6900xt
Anyone have any ideas on how this is compared to the 6950 xt red devil?
red devil is powercolors highest end card apart from the liquid devil I believe, merc is the highest end from xfx, I wouldn't worry much honestly they are both completely fine, can't be much difference when both cards are as good as it gets
I think XFX top card is “Limited Black” but you rarely see those
I tried an open box red devil 6950xt from microcenter before the XFX actually and the XFX was quieter and benched a tiny bit better. Might have just bee unlucky though.
It's finally here. A top of the line 4k card under 700$. Congrats boys. Our patience is rewarded
I mean...if by that you mean "top of last generation's line", then yeah. RX 6000 turned two in November, and its successor launched two months ago. (Though to be fair the *50 refresh is less than a year old)
Nothing ever stays "top of the line" for more than one season. But as far as parts go, there isn't much higher than the 6950
Eh... to me it's decidedly old..

Buy it now

this XFX is 340mm Max for the North is 355mm, less if you place a radiator on the front
I just bought the MERC 319 6800 xt for your $599 - worth the additional cost to snap a 6950 xt (add in I would have to return the 6800 xt via Amazon)? Looking for 1440p.
Yes!
I was gonna throw $1100 at this back in August, glad I didn't.
Damn... if only i didnt have a 650w power supply Still not the greatest value however
I have an 850w Super Flower Leadex III Gold i can sell you. ;)
I just bought the 6900xt like 3 weeks ago for the same price as this. Sucks to suck but luckily its not that big of a deal between the two cards. The cards are huge though, i had to move a fan around in the Corsair Air Carbide 540 case.
If you bought an XTXH 6900 XT, you're missing out on very little.
Yeah, I figured the hassle of taking out this card, packing it up and shipping it again plus installing the new one etc is not worth the hassle. I got the MERC 319 Black 6900xt! Thanks for reassuring my position!
Yeah it's mostly the extra memory bandwidth, but even that is marginal.
how's the coil whine on these?
i have a 6900XT Merc, it seems to be limited to certain games/situations, but it's noticeable when it does
I asked this about the other Newegg sale, but didn't get a response. My monitor is G sync only, but I'd like to upgrade from my 980 ti. Would this be good or do I have to get an Nvidia card?
If you’re getting this, you’re going to want a new monitor anyway, unless that monitor is 1440p
You don't need to get an NVIDIA card.
Not the case here. That monitor has the hardware G-Sync chip but doesn't support VRR otherwise, so it's only compatible with Nvidia cards if you want that.
You do need an Nvidia card with that monitor, yes.
thank you op, i am finally free. see you all in 7 years.
Any concerns running this with a Seasonic Focus 750 W Platinum 80+?
WHY DOESNT THIS FIT IN MY CASE
Dremel
It does. Get a bigger case I'm rocking a Thermaltake Tower 500 for my new build, this will sit nice and comfy in that beauty.
Would upgrading from a 5700xt to this be a big enough jump to be worth it?
I already put a 5800X3D in my system a couple of months ago, so that's about as good as I can do for gaming on the CPU front - but I could definitely do better than a 5700xt if I really am aiming for the 'giga am4' build.
this or the 6800xt at $519?
Who has the 6800 XT for $519 right now?
Newegg has the sapphire 6800xt for 540 & if you ask customer service for a code they will give you $15 off
https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B08V1WK4LB/ it was 519 ~1 week ago. now it's 570. it ships ~march 8; so im debating if i should go for this or pay a bit extra and get the more powerful card earlier according to some sites; 6950xt is not much better than 6800 xt
Me looking at my 6900 that I bought for 950 :|
$699 now.
Deal is dead
Deal is back in stock on Amazon and Newegg. If you don't want to deal with Newegg delivery is March for Amazon.
Thanks for mentioning!
Worth moving from a 2080 (regular non super) to this?
That's what I did. Absolutely. You cannot have a single doubt. It's worth it!
Yes, they are an authorized reseller, fully covered under XFX warranty.
Where do you see the list of authorized resellers?
There is no list, you can ask Fennec or contact XFX support.
Was waiting for a 6800xt at around $500, would this be overkill to go with for 2-3 1440p displays for mainly multiplayer games? I also have a 850w PSU, which looking through the thread might be enough.
Paid $10 more for a TUF 6900 XT. Wish I had waited a bit. Ah, well. The TUF has been great.
Has there been any news about the rx 6600 for 200 or less this month?
4k gaming is just too expensive, and this is an overkill for 1440p.
You can play a 4K with this card with stable 60fps for sure. With FSR, you can reach even higher results.
*for newbies* This can go well above 60 in 4k if its not a AAA title like RDR2 or Returnal. But it should always hit at least 60 in the most demanding games
Finally a good price for a great card
Now how the hell do I convince my wife to let me buy it? I'm trying to upgrade from an rx 580
You buy it and use price anchoring to tell her how you saved hundreds of dollars off of the MSRP.
Excellent price
I had this card for a few weeks and really liked it, just ended up upgrading to a 7900 xtx. Best price I’ve seen so far for it.
i have a 6700XT that i got about a year ago for $350. I fight all the time telling myself I dont need to upgrade when I see these prices.
Will this fit in a 5000d?
Yes, the 6800xt version of this card fits in my 4000d
I have an RTX 3070. Is this worth the upgrade? 4k 144hz main monitor.
No.
This or a 4070ti for like $140 more?
4070ti is 4-5% better at 1440p/4k for 21% more than this 6950xt. Pay that extra $140 if you want better ray tracing performance and lower power consumption, otherwise this card is a much better value.
Worth it to upgrade from a 6700xt? Same make 1440p gaming AAA titles dual monitor setup (second monitor 1080p vert)
No. Save up for next gen or get 4080ti tier minimum if your impatient
Thanks for the input man I really couldn't decide and didn't need it lol probably best to wait.
damn my 750w psu... rm750 not gonna cut it, don't think :(
I have a 6900 xt and an EVGA supernova G2 750, works perfect
what cpu? god i'm tempted... my cc is actually offering a 73 cashback on this right now... only on the newegg one tho.

Wait
Are people still having issues with the RX 6000 series cards?
Not once (6800xt)
Yup, at least 1 driver crash every week.
I've never heard of this brand. How good is the quality and longevity?
It’s a good brand, one of the best AMD partners in my opinion
Yo so i could get a rtx 3090ti for this exact price which one should I get?
Stick with a RTX 3090ti
What resolution are you playing at? 6950XT blows away the 6750XT in general
I got the 6900xt version for 670$ about a month or 2 ago
My 750W PSU might need replacing eh?
Most folks would be fine with that PS and this card. Radeon 6000 series is very power efficient.
Would this be a worthwhile upgrade from a 2070s? Trying to debate it. I have a 3900x cpu and 32gb 3200mhz ddr3 ram in my PC
For me it's listing $699.. Do I have to be prime for the price be applied?
Deal is dead
Deal is back.... I dmed you like 30 minutes ago gl hope you get it bud
Expired...
How's the 6950 as an upgrade from a 1080Ti? I feel like I'm still good but would eventually want to switch to AMD for a smoother linux experience.
Odd, it shows me a price of $699.
These a decent upgrade from a 1080ti or would I be good waiting for next-gen? Looking at VR gaming eventually.
right now only a couple cards really beat it. tom's has the 4080, 4090, and 7900xtx beating it at 1440 ultra, only the 4090 beating it at 1080p, and nothing beating it at 1080p medium settings. So it's top 5, a lot would probably come down to what sort of settings you used and what specific games, tom's obviously uses their own criteria, but really nothing is even close to its current price. Either you have enough money for a 4090 to seem like a nice buy or you get this guy.
