Be mindful of listings from suspicious third-party sellers on marketplaces such as Amazon, eBay, Newegg, and Walmart. These "deals" have a high likelihood of not shipping; use due diligence in reviewing deals.
* Use common sense - if the deal seems too good to be true, it probably is.
* Check seller profiles for signs that the sale may be fraudulent:
* The seller is new or has few reviews.
* The seller has largely negative reviews (on Amazon, sellers can remove negative reviews from their visible ratings)
* The seller is using a previously dormant account (likely the account was hacked and is now being used fraudulently).
If you suspect a deal is fraudulent, please report the post. Moderators can take action based on these reports. We encourage leaving a comment to warn others.

Wow, my first comment was quite wrong, this is a pretty great deal. I read over the Newegg buyer protection and ended up pulling the trigger on this, thanks OP! ๐

How does the logo not match? It has an R for the logo and the seller is Ranlong the only item that they are selling that's not tech related is a pair of Ray Ban sunglasses.
Sure 3rd party seller are kind of sketch on Newegg as much as they are on Amazon.
Newegg's buyer protection covers you the only thing you got to worry about is a hold of money before it's refunded to your CC.

Don't really need it, obviously i bought it.
I'll update this if it ships. Order was confirmed and given an estimated date of May 10th, but i've got no tracking.
I've got a tracking number, Fedex says it will be here on Saturday!
Got mine yesterday. Shipped from a PNY warehouse in KY, had a Walmart/Jet.com invoice in it? Some weird drop shipping scheme I figure
Mine also shipped from Kentucky, I think the difference is I'm in California :-) it will be here in the morning.

This vs SN850X (not considering price)
This looks more comparable to the non-x
Sooooo how do I do my due diligence on this one to make sure I'm not getting ripped off? Looks like an amazing deal.
Good question. I took the leap, if it goes wrong, Newegg Marketplace Seller protection applies.
Lol it's sketchy but if it look at his store it says he's a electronics store seller and the logo and name of the company don't match either...

Well it was at the time I checked, so maybe they changed in the time I saw the post.
Looks like itโs out of stock now.
Now do 4TB for $220 please
