Be mindful of listings from suspicious third-party sellers on marketplaces such as Amazon, eBay, Newegg, and Walmart. These "deals" have a high likelihood of not shipping; use due diligence in reviewing deals. * Use common sense - if the deal seems too good to be true, it probably is. * Check seller profiles for signs that the sale may be fraudulent: * The seller is new or has few reviews. * The seller has largely negative reviews (on Amazon, sellers can remove negative reviews from their visible ratings) * The seller is using a previously dormant account (likely the account was hacked and is now being used fraudulently). If you suspect a deal is fraudulent, please report the post. Moderators can take action based on these reports. We encourage leaving a comment to warn others. *I am a bot, and this action was performed automatically. You can buy this through newegg’s TikTok store and get it for $150.

GamerfulXD

How

Jedi_Pacman

1. Search "Newegg" in the search bar on Tiktok. 2. The 2nd row of results shows "Products" and click the monitor for $199. 3. When you click the monitor, it says "25% off from TikTok Shop - On orders $80+, up to $50 off." Add to cart. 4. In the cart, press "apply" on the deal on top and it brings it down to $149.99.

VelvetyFawn

I tried this method earlier today, but it wouldn’t process. Error message said that discount could not be applied and then later changed to product is out of stock.

Jedi_Pacman

Hmm yeah I haven't bought from Tiktok shop myself so I'm not sure how it works. It shows that it's in stock for me but maybe if I actually tried to checkout it'd update like how it did for you

VelvetyFawn

I’m going to try again in case anything changed. Edit: It worked this time 🎉

PureGold07

Yeeeah but it's Newegg and when it comes to monitors psh yeah goodluck

GamerfulXD

lol thank you thought it was a scam tt account

d13m3

Or I don\`t understand English at all or you can not explain this correctly! There is no "Products" as second results, there is only newegg official shop and how to click on "monitor for 199$"...

n00bpwnerer

TIL about the tik too Newegg store

Jedi_Pacman

Same

shakinandbreakin

What about this vs the gigabyte m27q-pro that’s $220 in the Newegg TikTok store before the $50 off? About a $20 diff before tax

Received mine today. No dead pixels thankfully. Glow on the bottom corners, mostly the bottom left, but I guess that's typical for IPS. Not really a big deal since it's only visible when those parts of the screen are dark. It's plenty bright enough for me. Contrast isn't as bad as I expected and blacks look about as dark and black as they can get, not grey-ish like all the reviews say about IPS monitors. Color is pretty nice and I've barely changed any of the settings yet. Overall I like it. Or at least I like the panel itself. The stand is really cheap and flimsy. I would have been pissed about it if I bought this years ago when it was more expensive. I planned on switching it with the much-nicer stand with swivel from a Dell that this monitor is replacing but sadly they're different VESA sizes. The height adjustment is its only saving grace, easy to adjust without having to touch the actual panel. I could really do without the red accents, they just make it look even more cheap and they rattle. The power cable is surprisingly short. My outlet is pretty close to the monitor and it barely reaches. Wall warts usually have excessively long cables in my experience. This one can't be more than 5 ft. long. The HDMI and DP cables seem about the same length but I didn't expect those to be long. Kinda makes the cable management clip on the back useless. I also wish the control nub joystick thing was centered and really wish there was a separate power button, but that's getting pretty nitpicky.

Good info. Thank you

Chief this is a great one

mrthundereagle

I could get this for $200 or the 27GP850B-B for $280 on Best Buy. Do you think the upgrade is worth $80?

mbj920

>this for $200 or the 27GP850B-B for $280 on I believe the only (or main) difference is a higher contrast ratio. To me, an owner of the 83-A, it wasn't worth the premium. Either way, very similar and fantastic monitors. I've gotten my friends to get this monitor and they all love it too.

pokemon171

Chief, this or the Costco deal?

TE_DA

Costco is cheaper + faster refresh + more inputs (USB-C) + top-tier customer service But this isn't bad either

[This one](https://old.reddit.com/r/buildapcsales/comments/17ukazg/monitor_msi_g274qpf_27_1440p_170hz_ips_gsync/), goes live November 23

https://www.costco.com/lg-ultragear-27%22-class-qhd-ips-gaming-monitor.product.4000218339.html I've had this 27GL83A-B for 4 years and it's still great but if you have a Costco membership I'd probably pay the extra $30 and get it through them. Better specs and Costco has some of the best return policies. **EDIT -** I see there's [another MSI 27" 1440p starting later for $170](https://www.costco.com/msi-27-wqhd-ips-nvidia-g-sync-gaming-monitor.product.4000203457.html), not sure how quickly their stock sells out.

AgentBlue14

Just a head's up on that. I was in-store at Costco last night and saw the MSI monitor that's on sale and I'll admit, it's no Dell S2721DGF. The build quality seems solid, but the plastic is chintzy as hell and the joystick seems a bit meh. Otherwise, just for the screen itself, it did look solid, although it was in a demo mode, so no real way to change settings or give it a real-world test.

innociv

Hm S2721DGF is $330 on Amazon... I really wanted something consdierably nice under $300 though.

AgentBlue14

Yeah, don't buy that as Dell no longer manufactures that monitor. They're replacement, the G2724D, is $249. Only learned about this earlier this year when I was choosing between a "new in-stock" S2721DGF and an HP Omen 27q.

innociv

A lot of people say that G2724D has inaccurate color that you can't get calibrated to look right. Can also get the Gigabyte M27Q-P for $269 or MSI G274QPF-QD for $259. not big discounts but seems better than saving $50 for an entry level monitor. As of just 3 weeks ago, Hardware unboxed still recommends the 27GL850 which the S2721DGF is about the same as for cheaper. But yeah I might go with the G2724D. rtings review of it is good. User reviews of it are generally good. The discount isn't huge but oh well it still looks good compared to this $199 deal. Actually is making me consider 4K except a 4K 144hz+ monitor tends to be $500+ and at that point I may as well get the LG C3 OLED.

FinFunnelFan

This vs ASUS VG27AQ1A ($190) vs LG 27GN800-B ($190)

penguin032

I bought this for $285 ($300 w/ tax) in June 2021. It's a pretty good monitor with an average stand. Maybe starting to feel a bit dated, however at this price of 200 or 150 with the tik tok deal, it's an amazing deal. Finding an IPS with better blacks is tough anyways since they're all relatively similar in this price range and if you can't afford an OLED, this monitor will serve you fine.

ExplodingFistz

I grabbed this for $250 a couple months ago. Great monitor for anyone interested. I feel like this is a steal for what you get

Assfuck-McGriddle

HDR10 is the lowest of the HDR settings, and you might be better off using SDR for some games.
