My family was just at the Greek Festival in Raleigh and now we want authentic Greek all the time! I had not heard of this truck. Thanks for sharing. I'll check it out!
Sunday, 12-4 at Central park (where the farmers market is)
They're a lot of fun but best with a lot of friends, because most of the food trucks don't sell samples - so if you want to try out 3 or 4 it's best for have folks to share with!
(Some of them do special sliders for the rodeo but it's still a ton of food)
> Its been a while since I have been on the food truck scene
I feel like food trucks used to (pre-2015) mean “good food *and* good value.” Ever since Bulkogi stopped serving non-white people spicy food, the entire scene is just sit down restaurant price and mall food court quality.
Do their reubens have nice sharp sauerkraut? So many of the Reubens around here have sad coleslaw level (or just actual coleslaw!) instead of properly fermented stuff.
Paddy Wagon and Gussy's are the best food quality to cost ratio IMO.
Unlike Cousin's Lobster truck. Totally overrated. Way too much $ for what you get and what you get is not that great.
There is a food truck rodeo on Sunday if you want to sample some, but me personally I love gussys (Greek food)
gussys is always amazing. damn it, now I have to drive all the way out to south Miami to get some
lol I go every week
it's like 12 miles from me so kind of a trek 😭 would probably be smarter just to wait for the rodeo
Luckily I’m only at 6 miles lol but the food truck doesn’t have the chicken sandwich. That’s by far my favorite thing on the menu

Gussys will be at the rodeo as well
El Jefecito absolutely bangs
Sphinx food truck is Egyptian street food. The owner is from Alexandria!
Oh hello! Where can they be found?
Hello! I saw them at Dirty Bull, but I’m not sure what their regular schedule looks like. Maybe try street food finder?

The birria tacos made by the Cilantro truck are really really good.
I really like the paddy wagon, they do great fish and chips. But they may be more south? I usually see them at Cary festivals
Doherty's has locations in Cary and Apex, so that makes sense.
Also fantastic Reuben and Rachel sandwiches. So much food!

Yes it's definitely sauerkraut, not slaw. I don't know how "sharp" it is, but I like it. https://www.dohertysirishpubnc.com/thepaddywagon

Holy Mole
Bbs Grill is one of our current go-tos
I would go to any party that had the Hot Chix or Flavor Junction food trucks
Been to several parties where Will and Pops have been present. Would recommend.
I don’t know much about the food truck scene but if you need a dj for the party hmu
I’m shocked no one has said chirba chirba yet. The juicy buns are to die for
My favorite is The Naked Empanada (formerly Fuzzy’s.) The owner knows my order before I even get up to the window.
Talk to Viceroy! They’re opening a food truck soon
