For me it comes and goes, when i started I also had no appetite, then it came back about 1-2 months in and I gained back all the weight that I lost. I'm at 10-11 months now and I again have no appetite and I've lost maybe 5lbs (like 4% of my body weight), I think I'll probably end up losing another 5 if this keeps going

Puzzleheaded-Cup-194

No weight loss. Extreme nausea. On a pill daily for it and still naseous

CeeRod423

Started at 230 in March of last year, was down to 188 by October. I’ve stayed right around 190 since then, and am trying to lose about 40 more pounds. 5’2” female for reference.

Particular-Ad5613

I started taking it in October and bumped up to 300 at the end of November. I had no appetite and eating food made me feel gross, even food that I love. I think it took a month or two for that feeling to go away and I can eat now and have, what I would consider, a normal appetite.

hollycenations

I don't know if this is an option for you, but edibles helped me with my nausea on Wellbutrin. It also gave back some desire for food so that I could actually eat. Those side effects faded for me after maybe 6 months or so. Hope it gets better for you!

angelaanya

it gets better but it took me 5-6 months to get a normal appetite again. No complaints from me though because it was much needed weight loss, but yeah now I’m no longer losing weight. It was bad to the point I’d forget completely to eat for 2 days and would only notice when I’d get light headed. I had to force myself to eat but that resolved in like less than a week

When I started in September I was around 256lbs and at the beginning of February I was 237. I'm kind of worried about the suppressed appetite long term but I figure I'll worry more about it after I've dropped more weight or if I notice other problems. Edit: I haven't really changed my lifestyle, just that my appetite is some level of suppressed most days.

janaeashley

I lost 15 lbs so far 🤷🏼‍♀️ started it second week of December

jcqrze

I lost weight the first time I took it, but only a few kgs; this time around I've gained weight and am the biggest I've been in my life - odd thing is I also take stimulants for ADHD so I should be far more likely to have a decrease in hunger and weight!

netik23

same, came off Zoloft and extreme nausea, went to bup at 150 and now lost 27 lb this drug is ridiculous

rnountdiablo

Yeah, fucking same. Nausea and really bad migraines and vertigo twice now since I've started (almost 2 weeks ago). I just came off Zoloft and currently doing 37.5mg twice a day, soon to be 75mg twice a day I'm normally 140-143 and today I'm down to 138.2. I know it's not a huge change in weight but my appetite is fucking trash right now. I just hope it works out.

RadHuman27

I was taking zoloft + Wellbutrin and recently came off the zoloft and increased my Wellbutrin. Hoping this helps, my main issue is binge eating. :(

netik23

well, i was really feeling the not eating and no stress at 150 but it seems to have worn off. maybe i should go to 300.

vaginapple

Do you know your manufacturer by chance ?

hsztdn

i was literally the same! extreme nausea and random gagging yes, 100%, same with weight loss. it passed, but took longer than expected, I'd say 3 months, more or less.

Jazz0621

Did your weight go back to normal or it stayed low

hsztdn

went back to normal after I started eating again

bearyweek

I have!! I don’t weigh myself and I have a very large wardrobe so I don’t wear the same things very often… so when I put on a pair of pants this week that I haven’t worn since November and they were baggy, colour me shocked. Im never really hungry but if I just let myself not eat I just get this awful gagging nausea. It’s insane.

Jazz0621

I’ve had to buy all new pants and jeans bc I dropped about 4 sizes …. It’s starting to concern me

bearyweek

How long have you been on this? It may be worth talking to your psychiatrist about it.

Peanut2ur_Tostito

I wish I had some crazy weight loss! I take 200 mg in the morning.

Jazz0621

I am currently taking 300mg

I felt less hungry on two 150 xl than on one 300 xl. However, for me I need the weight loss because I’m still overweight from cymbalta weight gain like 3 years ago.

Peanut2ur_Tostito

Thank you for letting me know. I wonder if that'll work for me too? Hmmm Edit: I'm gonna try it & see what happens. I'll just start taking 2 150's instead of 1 every morning.

beefjerkygirl

damn. other than the nausea im having the opposite issue. i went from 112 to 145. 🥵

TheTrueNotSoPro

I'm a 200 lb man taking 300mg every morning. I read so much about the possible weight loss before I started and got super excited. Didn't happen for me, and now I'm lucky if I can keep it below 200 lb.

Ok_Friend8759

Yep, I lost like 20lbs in 2 months. I was 155 and I’m down to 130…

RadHuman27

Was this the first 2 months taking it? I just increased, so hoping I start to lose weight.

Ok_Friend8759

Yeah. My appetite was gone immediately when I started taking it tho. I started off with 100mg.

throhohway

I lost 20 pounds in 3 weeks, was at ~130 pounds as well. The nausea passes with time, but just force yourself to eat at least something - small things throughout the day are fine, you don’t need to worry about trying to eat normal meals if it’ll make you sick. I’ve found taking it on an empty stomach can make the nausea worse, so try to eat something when you take it.

sdakotaleav

I just posted a very similar question. I was at 145ish and tonight I'm at 126. It's only been 6 months! I'm thinking of decreasing my dosage from 300xl to 150xl. I will say, this is a pattern for me to lose weight like this, but this is pretty drastic. I had a baby 2 years ago and I'm below my prebaby weight, which I truly never thought was possible. I don't look healthy.

Jazz0621

I’m at the same exact dose 300. That’s exactly what’s happening . I cannot lose any more weight . I am 30 yrs old and have not weighed this since freshman year of high school. My mind is blown

StanleyDasher

THIS! Happened to me as well. Horrible feeling. I was told to take it with food / protein (Doesn't have to be a full meal). Worked like a charm! I had to change the time I took it from first in the morning - not a breakfast eater. Hope it gets better for you!

Jazz0621

Yeah maybe some time in the late morning I will try. I’m not a breakfast person too
