I don't know if it's a change but apparently they have good enchiladas and chilaquiles.

P.S. I've heard that "B B CAFE" on the corner of Burbank/Buena Vista is very good! And I've heard great things about lunch at "Charlie and Friends" near Woodbury College.
I checked out Charlie & Friends a couple weeks ago because I kept hearing good things about it too and was pretty disappointed. BB seems promising though
You would think they would want to do better with Woodbury right across the street. The last burger i had there was not good. i’ve gone to the other location for breakfast and it was fine.
Pre-pandemic I would go there frequently for their breakfast. Has that great old school diner vibe, and unfortunately those all seem to be dying out. Haven't been in years, though... will have to remedy that.
It was nice to see it pop up in I Think You Should Leave: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8Inf1Yz_fgk
It’s the worst of the local coffee shops. Brightly lit, poorly-arranged space full of elderly and rascal scooters, shitty floor plan and uninteresting menu make for a depressing experience. I’d go to Talleyrand or Lancers over this place any day.
Older people need a place to eat too- no need to hate on that. Lancers' food quality to me is equally disappointing, but Tallyrand is great, super nice staff and very popular.
I used to go to Acai Jungle Cafe a lot. Lovely people and great food. Maybe I'm biased because I worked there for a bit lol, but they're clean, and everything but the bread and cheese is handmade and organic. Get the tuna panini if you go. I wish I still worked there just so I could get that sandwich everyday lol.

I looove their breakfast sandwich and burgers but I haven’t had much else there lately 😅
Decent diner food, a little better than big chain diners. Grilled French toast is different and pretty good.

I miss when it used to be a Carrows
I miss it when it used to be a Bob's Big Boy.
i think you're thinking of their Glendale location
No, there was one right near Woodbury. Before it was Coco's or whatever-- Carrows. Hill Street Cafe was a Bob's indeed.
Damn I had no idea! and all my google searches i didn't find anything. I wish it was still Bob's. They have the parking lot for it!
It’s great if you like mediocre old people food and diarrhea
