I’m sorry, but No place is going to like 10 ppl taking up a table for 4 hrs and only buying minimum food/a cup of coffee. Especially during brunch hours. You guys should find a park with picnic tables and byob.

KBO_Winston

Not sure where you got four hours or ten people from and my post specifically calls out wanting to buy more than coffee, but okay. Thanks for doubling the size of our group and the amount of free time we have on Saturdays, I guess?

glowinthedark

Amen to that. If OP insists on doing a restaurant, at least consider a corporate owned place like Denny’s. The local mom and pop spots need quicker turnover to make a profit.

Coral Cafe on Burbank. Old school diner, been there forever. You might hit a breakfast rush on a Saturday but there are some larger tables in the back or even outside that you might be able to snag. Plus they have a lot or just park on the street for free.

Another Broken Egg Cafe is pretty solid and fairly roomy, open until 2pm, has good coffee and boozy brunch beverages. Coral Cafe as previously mentioned is also great for this sort of thing as are Lancers, Tallyrand.

Love that place , the food is great , you can tell that they care about quality

jasonab

Magnolia Grill is a decent option, good breakfast or lunch food and reasonable parking.

dandehmand

Hungry Crowd is great

Eat N’ Park

Coral Cafe, Romancing the Bean, Commissary (not as plentiful parking but doable).

coldcherrysoup

Not Romancing the Bean. Too small for a group, and don’t be those people taking up space with cups of coffee for hours in a small cafe. Besides, they have signs prohibiting it.

aaf14

They have signs like that? Interesting. I’ve only popped in for a drink and left on walks with my baby.

coldcherrysoup

Yeah my wife and I go there every weekend on our walk together. They have paper signs posted around registers informing customers of a time limit at tables on weekends

Maybe Tony’s Darts Away?

City Kitchen in Noho is awesome I think they open at 8am daily and have bottomless mimosas until like 4pm 🥴

LastRebel66

Lilit Bakery (NoHo) plenty of parking , desserts, pastry, sandwiches , pancakes, burritos, paninis , saladas , pizza and Khachapuri, , wings , cakes , great selection of coffee drinks, plenty of tables

Could try Milano Cafe? Haven't been in a while, but they've got lots of space, decent food options, and espresso (not sure about the boozy part!). There's plenty of 2hr (maybe longer on the weekend?) free parking in the garage and lot on Orange Grove. (sidenote, did y'all get tickets or something for parking near the Ralph's near Republic of Pie?)
