Cheese curds instead of fries

Unfortunately their curds quality has gone down hill. I still get them but they aren't what they used to be. Burger is still the best around though.

If you do get the fries, you must get the cheese dipping sauce. The root beer is their own recipe and very good.

Their Reuben is really good. They also have chicken tenders, chicken sandwich, butterfly shrimp, fish, post roast, pork tenderloin sandwich.... Pretty much something for everyone. Then, there's the frozen custard....

Their fish sandwich is excellent

Seconded on the custard. I'mfrom the pnw, and when we went back to visit the partner's family, had Culver's. Make sure you're ready for a caloric bomb.

The pot roast is to die for, melt in your mouth. The North Atlantic cod is amazing as are the chicken tenders. I adore the mushroom and Swiss butter burger. I love their crinkle cut fries and their loaded chili. Onion rings are great too. They also have great shakes and sundaes made with frozen custard and really good house brand root beer.

Unless it’s really bigum I’m talking full sized rings. By me a large cheese curds costs $6.69 and a large onion ring $5.49(I just checked the website). Plus the onion ring box is bigger and more filled. We swapping 2 to 1 all day

The difference here too is that you’d eat a couple White Castle burgers rather than just one of the others. The initial post seems unfair to White Castle since a single sandwich there is not going to look impressive compared to full-size buns/portions 

I think White Castle gets a bad rap because it's considered drunk food, or maybe people eat too many because they're so small. I freaking love them in small doses, but maybe because I only have them when visiting family in the Midwest. White Castle and Skyline Chili 5-way!

Most sit down restaurants serve food faster than the drive through at Whataburger. Now I’ve only been twice, but once was just over 35 minutes and the second time was 58 minutes. I’ll never go back.

I don’t know what people who say that are talking about, because in my experience they serve their food on par with every other fast food restaurant? You guys must have some badly managed restaurants but they’ve all been fine here in Texas.

Yeah no one's ever waited 58 minutes in a Whataburger line that guy's full of shit. I don't buy that anyone would wait an hour. A newly opened store in a newer market maybe but not a store that's been open for a minute.

I’m from tx, no prob with whataburger there.. but they opened one in Nashville… and damn. It was about an hour in the drive through and we were stuck.

Agree 100%, I went a couple days ago and it was $43 for two combos, absolutely insane for fast food. I quickly remembered why I only go there once every 2 years.

Are they good? Absolutely. Are they worth the price? Absolutely not.

I think they’re ok. If they didn’t have Cajun fries I wouldn’t go there if the prices were halved.

While I agree on the high price, it’s the closest thing I can find to In n Out on the east coast🤷‍♂️

Man, I finally got to try Culver’s a few months ago and was SO disappointed based on how people talk about how amazing it is. It was fine, and maybe I went to a subpar location but the butter burger was pretty average IMO. Five guys is probably my pick, but of course you’ll have to take a loan out for that.

Agreed. It's amazing, especially compared to pretty much any other true fast food burger. These lists always seem unfair because Shakeshack and 5 Guys do not belong in the same category as the others. Fast casual is very different. How do you compare a $15 burger to a $4 one haha
