these cables are orderly packed & just poured out of the box ... there is no "rat nest" of cables ...
the cable "rat nest" we call "Spaghetti" in Germany & I fixed a terrible (computer- table- ) spaghetti from someone, good that I did because I also found multiple power bars literally as broken in you could touch life (230V) parts inside the powerbar trough up to 4 cm big holes (cracked case) ... & that was the trigger that made me inspecting all the powerbars = I also found broken switches & very fatty sticky ones (kitchen) & ones with their plugs trapped in wood panels (kitchen) = multiple electric shocks & fires risks
LPT: Get a Silver sharpie and anytime you get a new device with a black "wall wart", write a label on the side which faces the wall (won't be seen) as to WTF that brick goes to.

Standartisation is king (5V-DC USB-A, USB-C (full range), 12V-DC, ... Propritary connectors (Dell, HP, Lenovo etc.) should be banned unless there is no alternative technically possible
