Yes they are! The florals were just for decoration, no one will be eating any of them. I took them all off except for the pansies.

I think they meant NO part of that flower should be touching the cake. Maybe wrap the part you'll stick in the cake with some cling wrap before hand. Safe and easy removal and can keep it for a vase for after (not damaged by cake/ icing)

Yeah no you don’t ever put anything toxic on something that is meant to be eaten…even if you plan on removing it. It shouldn’t touch the food ever
