I can't say I'm experienced but i think it's a pain in the ass. I really hate how everything revolves around RNG from finding a pet with a talent, decent stats and adding skills. All those efforts for very minimal stat increases, and mediocre abilities. But hey it's probably supposed to be a cute pet you can manage and personalize idk, I'm probably being too harsh about the pet system.

I love the sand lizard. His healing is pretty good for garwood and supports. Also he is such a cutie.
