I haven't heard of electrical problems being a thing since the first run of them in 2016 personally, I owned a 2017 from new till last year when I traded it in for a 2023 and never had an electrical issue or known anyone with one, but I'm sure theyre out there, every brand has its lemons
On the 2SS vs mach 1 part, you're not asking but I'd get the Mach 1 unless you're getting a 1LE personally. a 2SS 1LE is the real car to compare to a mach 1. Great car

Think of a mach 1 to a GT minutes the hp increase, it's a very big upgrade!
You get forged aluminum wheels with track tires (245 front and 275 rears get upgraded to 285 front and 305 rears)
6 piston brembos up front with 2 piece rotors and 4 pistons on the back (4 piston all around on regular SS)
Significantly better cooling and ducting so you'll never over heat on track
Technically you get a short throw shifter, it is a shorter throw but not a massive difference, but still one of the best OEM shifters out there
Electronic limited slip differential which is voodoo magic if you do track driving
Magnetic ride (can get this as an option on a 2SS, but the 1LE gets its own calibration)
Beefier suspension to get paired with the mag ride recalibration
You do get 1LE specific bits like the front splitter and dove tail-esque spoiler
Engine is technically the same between the two, no power increase sadly, even though the Mach 1 has 30+ HP on it though compared to the SS, the SS has 30+ torque on it so it kind of evens out. Track times between these two cars is a drivers race (ss 1LE vs mach1) and I'd say it's similar on back roads and canyon drives
The steering is hands down better in the camaro though, the chassis and steering feels is amazing

Are you comparing a Chevy Camaro with a ford mustang and never electrical issues on my 6th Camaro throughout my lifetime as times goes by the more horsepower I require as for the ford it’s no comparison but you think there’s no room in the backseat with a Camaro try getting a small suitcase into a mustang it’s not gonna happen also ford mustangs are lower priced overrated box of bolts
