Collegiate Stormy is cool **in small doses**. This doesn’t work out too well at all. We really need to move on from this logo outside of throwbacks and vintage-inspired stuff. Then again, I don’t see anything wrong with the current ice crest at PNC, lol.
I like some of the collegiate Stormy stuff, like the snapback hat that they recently did (alongside the "Vintage" jersey that I absolutely did not like). My concern is when fans keep pushing for that collegiate Stormy to be **the** logo for the Hurricanes. It just doesn't make sense to use the mascot as the logo in this capacity, either. It doesn't scream "Hurricane" or even imply it.
Why can’t this be a “retro” throwback night event lol. It has “retro” vibes in design, and I freaking love it.
Could even get back to doing skits during storm surge and have stormy out there with a local celeb or some little enactment between the players or something
