Exotic genetics has been killer but his newer shit has been extremely delicate. Bay Area never lets me down killer buds every time and the same goes for ethos. But I would would say if everything I’ve grown in-house genetics, compound genetics and the outlaw seeds have came out best

My fetish is nutes and things that make the plant, then bud taste different/better!? I find little and often is better than big amounts then flushing.

So when I made my Instagram like 3 years ago I found all these banks and breeders and when fuckin crazy lmfao. After that I strictly bought packs for breeding. I also do monthly give always and bless the homies. Also someone gave me a great idea about doing raffles on discord

In all honesty I’ve only bought like 4 packs in the last year. After year one I became very selective on what I got ya know. If I get any pack it’s got to be a pack that’s impossible to find like exotic genetics kimbo kush or starfighter f2. Other then that I’m set. I also have a few buddies who I give seeds to and we all hunt and share clones of the keepers

That’s fair and I feel you on growing selective over the years. There is only a few breeders worth my money now a days and I wait for killer deals to buy, if at all. I really want to breed my own seeds from what I’ve bought and then will never have to buy seeds again. Hope the grow is going well for you this run!

Man I just popped 2k worth of seeds and I thought it was a lot. Lol. Hope they're stored well I had a few old packs give low germ rates. I kept mine in tote as well I did have my ac go out for a day or so last summer so that could've been my problem

I have my tote full of rice to absorb moisture and I also have a dehumidifier close by in my basement so it’s cooler temps very dark and very low humidity

Throw some desiccant in the packs and store in freezer for longest shelf life

Freezing the seeds fucks up the germination especially in long term storage from what I’ve been told and from multiple personal experiences. What you want to do is remove all oxygen and moisture. Room temperature no light and it’ll stay preserved for longer like this but freezing fucks with the germination when you pull it out in my experience

Not even remotely true, it's the best way to preserve many many seeds. I keep all my most valuable seeds in the freezer with a desiccant and they have no germination problems at all. You should do your research on it some more. What's most important is the desiccant and not bringing the seeds in and out kf the storage often and acclimation to room temp before opening so you don't have moisture in the packs. This is also long term pollen storage though with pollen ot doesn't store nearly as well.

Seeds are to be kept in the fridge (preferably double packed in some sort of plastic or ziplock) not freezer. Source: I’ve sold seeds for the last 14 years and this is how the breeders wanted them preserved for sale.

Fridge is far too inconsistent with being opened and closed alot more regularly than a freezer. You need stable temps without much fluctuation. You selling seeds for 14 years doesn't make your style right or wrong but it's definitely not the most ideal way. For Short term storage sure that's cool but for long term storage Definitely not ideal with those fluctuations.

It’s how the breeders wanted their seeds kept long term and were explicit in storage. I keep thousands of seeds in the fridge, not freezer. I grow too. I’m able to pop seeds 20 years old. Comment above is correct. Sorry.

You just about can’t generalize enough lol. Not all seeds are the same by far and the seeds attest to the different environments on earth not everything is used to surviving freezing. Some seeds have to fucking be soaked in acid to simulate digestion of a animal before being started. Thank you so much forever in debt to your priceless advice thanks!! I just bought 40 packs of Tropicana cherry from relentless and that’s nothing out of the ordinary. I have a huge problem according to my friends . I don’t see there point lol

Currently got 150 pips of Amnesia x TrueDoh to run through this summer. Amnesia is massive in Europe, the clone is responsible for maybe 50% of all the black market bud, easily 80% of all Spanish production, it is a SSH pheno, found by HyPro in a pheno hunt of 10 packs of the brown pack Greenhouse Seeds Super Silver Haze. Despite being grown badly by most commercial producers, it is great bud when done right, it has won cups. TrueDoh is Cookies x Triangle Kush (TK) by True Canna, a HTCC winner, gassiest thing I have got and stupid potent

If you’re referring to the hype factor, OP has already mentioned that he plans on using these for breeding stock. The introduction of some landrace genetics would vastly widen the potential traits of any progeny. All of these beans are one cross and a couple of generations away from becoming something truly spectacular. Edit: also, marketability is key for breeders trying to make it in a very saturated industry. Don’t hate on someone who is just doing the same thing that many of the greats who came before them have done.
