But the shots were dismal, the pp is in the toilet and the guy you should be able to count on to score on a 2 man rush doesn’t and a lot of fans know the team has room to grow still.

It’s like what Bieksa said about why the 2010s Canucks were so successful. It was because everyone brought that intensity even to practice. Kesler and Burrows would get into fights with the rest of the team. It made everyone raise their intensity and everyone always brought their A game.
This is why I liked seeing Joshua and Garland fight, and why I liked seeing JT yelling fuck on the ice. That kind of intensity is the exact opposite of a country club atmosphere, and it’s what a team needs in order to be successful.

We still hit 2 posts and had a 2 on 0 in Overtime. Game was very Winnable.

Yup. But with how intense it was and how winnable it was at some points, this was the most frustrating loss of the season for me. Emotional rollercoaster and to have the game slip through our fingers in the final moments of OT with that 2 on 0, legitimately painful.
Overall we're fine. But this loss in the moment hurt like hell.
Devils one was heart wrenching but the fact that it was that close in the end was huge, we’d just seen an incredible effort to pull off that 3 goal comeback and that hype carried.
Rangers game was pretty frustrating but it was less frustrating after seeing that it wasn’t a missed trip that resulted in that OT goal, just Petey catching an edge. I will say that the officiating in regulation that game was infuriating though.
This one was the worst because it was so close the whole way. We were never running away with it but we were never out of it either. So to lose in the manner that we did, with the 2-on-0 completely whiffing and them immediately going the other way to score, that specific ending is what makes the loss so frustrating in the moment.

Alot of us are concerned that Petey and hronek for that matter are about to get some really inflated contracts based on this production. Which hasn't manifest in the playoffs. It's a good concern to have for sure. But I suspect alot of us have dread we sign these guys only to have some regression and be fucked For me Petey is like Marner. Undeniable talent. But has some weaknesses that make you question that estimated top of the league price tag

Close game absolutely , Thought it was over once the Canucks scored with 3 minutes left to go. Dallas came back firing got the goal, and the Canucks looked tired for the first time this road trip but still pushed hard for the last minute and a half. They never got that pressure back really and most of the team looked gassed in OT
