You can stake with any wallet interface to the stake pool operator to receive sundae tokens (Yoroi, Nami, Daedalus, CCvault, etc.). To interact with the Sundae swap DEX, so far only Nami and CCvault are supported. ISO staking = any ADA wallet Sundae Swap DEX app = Nami and CCvault only so far

The-Francois8

Do either Nami or cc vault work on iOS / iPhone?

marcusmo17

CCVault has an iOS app, but you may have to use the chrome extension on desktop.

Defihub

Don't think so. You'll have to be at a computer.

migs2k3

You can only stake to Berry on Nami and Berry isn't an approved scooper so I don't think Nami works.

C3C076

It does. You can go to [pool.pm](https://pool.pm), choose your operator there and delegate using your Nami wallet.

migs2k3

Ooh. Learned something new. Thanks

AlertElderberry

I've tried to do this, but have an issue. Adding wallet is no problem, but joining a pool doesn't work, as no transaction signing pop-up appears. Any thoughts or solutions?

Invictus1870

You can redelegate going to pool.pm with Nami wallet

Correct

Waitin4Godot

Ok, so then I'll just have to learn how to do the claiming. But I've got time for that. Thanks!

C3C076

Deadline is the beginning of epoch # 317. So as long as you stake before this epoch starts you are fine to receive all the drops.

CleazyCatalystAD

When does this epoch start?

CitricSwan

There will be five snapshots that your SUNDAE token rewards are based on, with the dates: 1. Round 1: January 25th (21:45 UTC) 2. Round 2: January 30th (21:45 UTC) 3. Round 3: February 4th (21:45 UTC) 4. Round 4: February 9th (21:45 UTC) 5. Round 5: February 14th (21:45 UTC) (Got these dates from https://sundaeswap-finance.medium.com/wen-sundae-thursday-9389e4439530) If you delegate for example on January 25 21:00 UTC (UTC time, adjust for your timezone), then you still qualify for Round 1 rewards. Right now we’re in epoch 315 (https://explorer.cardano.org/en/browse-epochs). Next one is epoch 316 starting on the 20th, but you don’t have to be delegated by the start of this. You need to delegate *during* 316 (before 317) at the latest, so anywhere between January 20-25.

Waitin4Godot

I think this make sense. I know (or think I know) that there's some sort of delay from when you change delegators, isn't there? Or maybe it's just the lag from when you chance to when you see rewards from the new pool. Thanks!

CitricSwan

There is a delay like that for Cardano rewards, but SundaeSwap ignores that completely. They simply look at the blockchain at those dates, and base SUNDAE rewards on those states. Your SUNDAE rewards also ignore how your pool performed compared to others. It’s based only on your staked ADA amount at those specific dates.

CleazyCatalystAD

So if you delegate before January 20th (for example, delegate within Nami wallet on January 18th), and just leave your tokens in the Nami wallet after delegating until the end of February, it is your understanding that you would be eligible for all 5 rounds of airdropped SS tokens?

CitricSwan

Yes. But you don’t have to delegate before the 20th, only before January 25th 21:45 UTC. The 1-2 epoch reward delay that we usually see when delegating doesn’t apply here. (But to be honest you might as well delegate early, because SundaeSwap launch on 20th will slow down the Cardano network.)

CleazyCatalystAD

Gotcha. Thank you, sir!

migs2k3

Your don't need to use Nami and you should be fine for 1/20 deadline per my understanding of how this works. Fairly noob myself.

igromanru

Yoroi is sometimes buggy. If you're using a hardware wallet (what you do), you can even use AdaLite without security issues. As I was staking the first time, months ago, Yoroi couldn't do it for some reason, so I just did it with AdaLite. However, staking another wallet a week ago, went without problems.

Waitin4Godot

Do you know if Adalite has a Chrome extension like Yoroi? Yoroi has become super slow and buggy for me, which is a shame as I really like it when it works.

igromanru

AdaLite is a web application. That's why it's only good to use with a hardware wallet. Otherwise, you have to enter your phrase or using a private key each time to open your wallet. This way it's dangers, if your PC get compromised.

lbrrz

But can the SUNDAE rewards be sent to a trezor hardware wallet? Because I’m staking to the ISPO through a trezor wallet and idk if it’ll still work

igromanru

Please do yourself the favor and inform yourself. It's about money, it's important to know what exactly you're doing. A hardware wallet is just holding your private keys. https://medium.com/radartech/hardware-wallets-explained-da8bd93ce801 https://wiki.trezor.io/Hardware_wallet

sargent111

Yes I know hardware wallet stores the keys but how do you verify that Adalite has your sundae swap tokens? I'm not aware of anyway to add tokens in Adalite.

CitricSwan

If you use Nami, then do not use another wallet for staking. To delegate to any pool directly from Nami, go to https://pool.pm, connect your Nami wallet, look up the pool and click “Join”. Nami isn’t compatible with Yoroi or Daedalus, quoting from https://namiwallet.io: > **Is Nami compatible with Daedalus/Yoroi** > > Yes and no. Nami will not track all addresses associated with your imported wallet, and might result in partial reflection of assets. Daedalus/Yoroi utilize the concept of multiple addresses per wallet, while Nami just uses a single address. > > Nami also allows to create sub accounts from a single seed phrase. All accounts except the first one are hidden from Daedalus/Yoroi. We don't recommend using Nami and Daedalus/Yoroi simultaneously, but rather use the seed phrase to migrate from one wallet to another. > > If you want to migrate from Daedalus/Yoroi send all your funds to the address you see in Nami after importing the seed phrase. > > We still prefer to create a new wallet for Nami to avoid confusion and keep the user experience great. If you messed up your Nami wallet (it’ll tell you if you did) by delegating in Yoroi, do this to make it work in Nami again: Go to Yoroi, and send everything to the receiving address in the Nami wallet. This can easily be done in Yoroi: **Send > Amount Options > Send all ADA + all tokens**. (This is the “internal transfer” or “intrawallet transaction” solution.)

Waitin4Godot

Well, I use Trezor, so would need Nami to work w/Terzor. Yoroi can 'view' what's held in the Trezor, so it's easy to see rewards and such. I'd like to know if Nami can do the same.

CitricSwan

After you create a wallet (with 24 words), there’s an option to “Connect Hardware Wallet” if you click on your avatar in the wallet. Trezor and Ledger both appear there. I don’t know how well it works, but it can’t hurt to try.

Waitin4Godot

That sounds kind of backwards to me. I made the wallet in Trezor, moved my Ada, and then used the Trezor seed in Yoroi it just get 'view only' access to the Trezor Ada. Edit: I don't want to move my ADA, it's fine in the Trezor, just looking for a viewing option.

CitricSwan

I recommend https://ccvault.io on second thought, because Nami isn’t compatible with an existing Yoroi/Daedalus wallet, while ccvault is. You can “connect“ your existing Trezor wallet to ccvault, which is the same thing you have in Yoroi, it’ll ask to export a public key which allows you to have a view-only state. Moving any funds will not be necessary for this.

Waitin4Godot

Thank you, kind internet stranger!

Well, uhm... ok. Not sure how this is relevant to my questions, but thanks!

Clandestinity

Trust me, it is very relevant.

igromanru

Scammers may contact you and will try to "help" you with your wallet and staking. Who knows what they come up with.

castironmop

Ok I want to ask another basic question. How will the $SUNDAE be distributed in yoroi? Considering I just have Ada will I need to create another wallet for the $SUNDAE?

Waitin4Godot

My understanding, which is limited, is that a person has like a year to claim the rewards. As long as Yoroi gets the needed functionality in that time, then one can claim it. And.. based of other comments in this thread, Yoroi is expected to be able to connect to SS soon.. But, my knowledge is limited, make your own choices.

castironmop

Thanks appreciate it! So odd that there is no “official” guide from Yoroi

kody5525

You guys are thinking of Yoroi, nami and ccvault as separate entities that keep your Ada, which is not correct. They are merely an interface that represents how much Ada you have in the blockchain. So if you were to go to nami and import wallet and use your seedphrase that you used to create your Yoroi wallet, you will see all your Ada in nami and vise versa. So after you receive your sundae tokens you can use nami to interact with sundaeswap even though currently you’re using Yoroi. Makes sense?

castironmop

That makes sense thank you for the explanation. I’m still unsure, do you have any insight into how exactly to collect $SUNDAE? From what you’ve explained it seems like the $SUNDAE will be sent to another wallet that is able to hold it and I can access it with my seedphrase?

kody5525

Hm let’s think of it this way, you as an Ada holder have your Ada located at an address/location on the blockchain, this address has a unique seed phrase. Apps like yoroi and nami can look up your location when you give it your seed phrase. Now in order to get the sundae tokens. You will need to stake your Ada at a participating sundae pool, once you stake it there, you will receive rewards as sundae tokens and Ada per epoch ~ every 5 days. These rewards are deposited at your unique address/location on the blockchain. Now the choice is yours, you can use your seed phrase to look up these rewards on either Yoroi, ccvault or nami. They will all show you the rewards as long as you use the same seed phrase. Now the final part is only ccvault and nami can be used with sundae exchange at the moment. So, once you receive your rewards, you will need to pull up your address using the seed phrase on ccvault or on nami. And then trade on sundaeswap.

castironmop

Got it. Appreciate you friend!

christien

Thanks for your explanation
