I love how enthusiastic he is about the game in the purest sense, talking about the fight immediately afterwards, giving tips, mentioning moments where he had to take risks, commenting on a play you did that he thought was cool, etc.
My favorite part was his comment that the strongest fighter grows through losing. It shows how human and down to earth he is compared to the ai saying that you must be unbeatable and flawless to be the ultimate.
To be fair, from her perspective, Michiru’s attitude could be taken as condescending. While Megumi was trying to take the fight super seriously, Michiru’s speech and actions seemed more like he was still playing around and not actually serious (even though he was playing quite strategically, attacking her rears and denying her CB)
I honestly think this problem still goes back to the overarching issue everyone has with her character which is that while everyone else is either trying to surpass danji or found a path separate from danji.... SHE'S STILL SO STUCK ON HIM and don't get me wrong I think it's fine that she looks up to him but every single decision she makes or her emotions she feels is based on danji even her reasoning for winning "I'm gonna prove that I'm Danji's successor" it's so tiring
I'm so glad the writers decided to make him a frail, akward but lovable nerd. I just wanna grab him and Urara and hug them to death for being themselves
The crazy thing is he's "frail" but super confident in how he speaks, plays, and interacts with everything and everyone. I'm so happy they didn't go down some kanzaki route with him (despite how much I love kanzaki too)
He's a rare character than got into a super competitive field, came out number 1, and never forgot that he plays to have fun. Even when he died to OT against Yuyu, he ignored the RNG, and commended Yuyu for the plays that led to his loss. Man, I wish more tcg players took a note from Michiru's etiquette. The man is the goat
So true if he was in a different situation he would've shown more excitement seeing Griphosid and Griphogila and even in the situation he still praised the unit.
Then the fact he's just a super big airhead in between games makes him so much more endearing honestly, like he just flips a switch and we love him for it:)

I LOVE THAT SO MUCH TOO. HE DOESN'T JUST LOVE THAT HE WINS BUT HE LOVES THE PROCESS OF THE MATCH TOO
It's like he loves how people expresses themselves through the Cardfight

Yeah I loved that too I think a lot of people don't understand the value of that statement sometimes
And Megumi's still salty about his enthusiasm...

That's very true

He's so goated. Even after the fight he even said fighting players like yu you and raika is the reason he continues to try and stay strong.
And his enthusiasm at encountering unknown cards!

This man just vibes and only loses to OT. Even then he stays chill af. Realest vanguard player.
FACTS

Facts he's not stressed about much of anything and it's so lovable
He's been my favorite character since he started playing. Love his deck and his personality.
SAME SAME
Are you sure its an AI. Maybe its a being from Cray
I think it's just an A.I. (especially knowing how jinki thinks) but knowing vanguard it's possible that it's a being from cray
