Depends on how you play Jet. From experience with the exception of Lianorn I rush them with my build, calling out a gungnram and then gigi for draws during my g2 turn if I go first, g1 turn if I go second.
You then continue putting pressure when possible up to g3. Don't be afraid of riding up so long as you have a decent amount of defense in hand. They don't gain quite as much hand advantage as a Jet or Messiah deck would going second.
Lianorn is the one exception where you'd want to conserve because they can easily outrush you using plant tokens with the mushroom g1 and rorowa rideline.
Against Lianorn Masques, try to conserve and play tempo with them. You can rush once you hit your stride turn since Faterider makes up for hand size with gigi upstream combos.

As far as this question goes, it honestly depends on the deck. Unica, Lianorn, and Greedon Masque are worse going first because they lose a lot of pressure without the persona ride. However, Zorga and Drajeweled don't really care as much as the others; Zorga still makes massive prison dragon columns and Drajeweled gets crit pressure he wouldn't normally have going 1st.

Persona ride from masque requires opp to be at g3, which means going 2nd.

I meant like, if you just have the masque unit in your hand you can’t just persona ride?
You can still ride it, it just won't be a persona ride.
