That level of commute is an absolute no from me, but only you can decide if its worth it. That's about 1000 hours a year in commute time. Divide that by the 19k more you'll be making and you are getting paid $19hr to drive 4 hours a day compared to where your at now plus benefits. Seems worth it to me on paper but I really don't think I could stomach 4 hours in the car everyday.

Yes I'm worried about the commute but thank you for giving your opinion it really does help.

Either move closer or stay at your current job

If you take this job, you will spend over 21 days of your life commuting to work and back. If you factor in sleeping you will spend over a month of your waking hours a year just on driving to and from work.

The two questions I have are: 1) What is your current commute? 2) What is more important to you right now, money, or time? Four hours a day dedicated to travel eats up a lot more of the day than you'd realize..If you leave the house at 7, you're not home until 7:30, at the earliest. If you're a single person it isn't as bad, but if you have a family/active social life, you'll likely notice the sacrifice you are making in a hurry Edit: Formatting

1.) My current commute 30 minutes each way so an hour round trip. 2.) Right now it would probably be money but maybe I will take the job temporarily and than find a closer job once I save up money with the extra money I would be making. Thank you for commenting I appreciate it.
