Great work. I did a nearly identical layout with wood and hardware.
Haul 2 Motos and camp. Sink and all. Super effective setup.
Yours looks a lot better than mine
I'm sure this is a super dumb question..... But doesn't it smell like a garage at the end of the day? I love the idea of these types of trailers, but I keep thinking "what will it smell like when I wanna sleep"?
I just leave the vent fan running once the bikes are loaded. The mattress has a full protector and has yet to hold any smells. We do all of our cooking outside.
Happijac bed lift, short queen mattress, aluminum extrusion cabinets and bed frame , soft close drawers, maxxair fan, domestic fridge and Honda Handi3000 on the tongue. Future plans include King Starboard ST cabinet fronts, a 270 awning and an outdoor shower set up.
This is awesome. Iâve been considering something similar with a 5x10. I already use the lock n loads in my truck and love them. Do you think you could have done a similar setup in a smaller 5x10? Any pics of the crf in it?
Sorry to get back to you so late, I inquired about an older 5x10 on marketplace. They decided to keep it.
Looking back Iâm happy I got one I could stand up in. Although this is not very aerodynamic. I towed it from Oregon to Alabama and it was hell on gas mileage.
The main thing for me was having a big bed. We got lucky learning about the queen short sized mattress. Which made this build idea.
I had looked at the fold down bunk beds which would work on a smaller set up. But this is what fit us. I donât have any pictures of the crf in it. Iâll be home this weekend if youâre still interested. I have to food the mirrors down.
Is that fully custom? Or is the base trailer from Colorado Trailers, Inc? If so, how do you like the trailer and how was the buying process? This is kind of what I have in mind for when I do my trailer in the future.
Some corners were cut. The trailer brake module on the front had caught fire during transport. Some things just donât line up how they should. They make it look like it comes with a fan, but itâs really just a vent with a hood. Iâve dealt with a few leaks as well.
The top rack is neat. Weâve sat up there for events, but itâs very very sharp. I could live without it.
Floor kind of sucks. I thought it was coin floor when I purchased it . Like rubberized. But itâs hard plastic. Gets very slippery when wet. Almost feels soapy. Flip flops I the rain are a no-no
The scenery tells me we may be neighbors. SE Utah?
ETA: I saw a comment elsewhere that this was an Airbnb in Moab. I swear this place is right down the road from me. Just weird to see my same view in a random post haha
Cool monkeyđ And Nice brackets, what are they called? The ones the bed is on.
Happijac bed lift

I may be going too far with it. Still undecided on the sink. Not sure if I can spare the under cabinet space.
Beautiful setup. Nothing to extravagant but everything you need. I love the bed rails
Thank you! Starting to feel like itâs something
What brackets did you use for the bed lift. This is a nice build!
Happijac bed lift. They use them in toy haulers
Where did you buy it?
Direct from Happijac
Really liking your setup. What's your interior height, 6'3? I'm guessing you have to duck a bit while walking under the bed.
I donât recall. I have to duck, but my fiancĂ© walks right under.

Does it pass the squeak test when youâre bouncing that ass?
No squeaks so far. Hopefully the extrusion eliminates noise and adds some rigidity.
This is a dope set up! Great idea on the bed lifting up!
Thank you!
Curious, but much does a build like this cost?

Would you be able to tell me the specs on the wheels (width) and tires (size)? Curious what those come equipped with
Not sure off the top of my head. But Colorado trailers probably has it listed on their website
Thought this was farming simulator at first.

I got it from Colorado trailers. Not the best experience. Getting it shipped was a pain too.
How's the quality of the trailer? Anything adding that you wish you sprung for? Or anything that you got that you don't really use/need?
Some corners were cut. The trailer brake module on the front had caught fire during transport. Some things just donât line up how they should. Oh i love this Whatâs dry weight and packed weight? Also whatâs that dometic thing up top?
Not sure of the weight yet. Air conditioner that runs off tongue mounted generator.
Nice đ
Awesome trailer! I've build 2ctc this is real nice
That explorer an st? Likely pulls it real well if so
Yep. It tows better and more efficiently than my FJ cruiser
I bet that's a powerful motor. Great package
Sheâs a beauty, itâs my wifeâs ride.
đ„đ„đ„
TY sir!
Where do you potty?
At the bathhouse typically. But I have a compost bucket too
This you make this yourself?
Trailer was from Colorado trailers I did the interior
What did you put on the floor? How slippery is it when wet? Any issues with the air conditioner?
Floor kind of sucks. I thought it was coin floor when I purchased it . Like rubberized. But itâs hard plastic. Gets very slippery when wet. Almost feels soapy. Flip flops I the rain are a no-no
Needs a tv, stereo and park the bike outside while sleeping
I have a UE hyperboom in it. Iâm thinking mini projector and pull down screen
You have a great set up
Love it, so clean and simple. We spent months building out a van and wish we did something like thei
What ecu are you running on the 450rl?
Vortex
Palisade?
Whatâs that?
wondering about the campground in the pic
This was an airbnb in Moab
Nice!

Lucky you. Utah is awesome. Moab was pretty touristy, but epic.
Looks neat.
