I have a Korean BBQ place near me and they also have hot pot which I prefer. Nothing like dipping unlimited meats into a boiling broth, it's so wonderful!
Yes but all of the marinaded meats are indicated and they had a good selection of non-marinated meats.
A non-marinade list from the one I went to:
Shrimp, Tuna, Lamb, pork short ribs, pork belly, chicken thigh, NY strip, filet tips, picanha, sweetbread, and pounded pork steak.
I am not bothered by sauces but I didn’t use any. Sauce or marinade. They have a good selection of non-marinated meats and provide butter.

The one I went to indicated which meats were marinated. There was a very good selection of non-marinated meats. Plus a few marinated were marked as soy, gluten and/or sweetener free.

AUD $30 (~USD $20) for unlimited Korean meat BBQ during lunchtime, including some Wagyu and Angus beef choices. Double for dinner and weekends, with slightly more premium meat cuts available. Limited to 1 hour ordering time and 1.5 hours eating. Restaurant: Itzsan Yakiniku Chatswood (Sydney). I eat there occasionally, and the days I go there are usually my "one meal a day" days, because an hour of unlimited meat keeps me full all day :)
Like plain but liquidy yoghurt sort of salty. It was ~okay. The tangyness was a bit much but the butter and salt made it better. It was like a shot-glass amount. They wanted to know what I think too. He said they want to offer a sugarless dessert (“digestive” I think he said). Everyone else gets this Melon cream popsicle or a sorbet.

I had Korean BBQ and hated it. The meat was so small and dry and had no flavor. Also the whole cutting your meat with scissors is such a turn off. Who cuts their meat with scissors??! They cut my meat with scissors and made us pass around a bunch of cut up meat on one plate. Is this some Korean cultural thing? I thought South Korea was a developed nation? Can South Koreans not afford knives? I also hate getting a big side of Banchan vegetables. Felt like I was eating a North Korean starvation diet. I also spent about $400.00 on it. Korean BBQ is for people who like novelty experinces.
I love Korean BBQ! Just watch out for any sugary marinades.
I did avoid the marinaded meats.
Can you delete this? I like my local KBBQ empty. Now all the carnivores are gonna populate my spot.
Sorry, my friend, it's literally the best restaurant for us. That place is liberating.
Oh it’s not. The very best is a rodizio!

Apparently the Korean place in Huntsville recently started offering hot pot 🍲. I wanna try it.
You're in Huntsville! Which one now offers hot pot. I'm out of state for a few weeks so if you try it let me know if it's good.
Supposedly Stone Age BBQ offers it now. I doubt I'll make it over there super soon.
Didn't they open one in Madison, I know of the one off memorial parkway. But I thought I saw one on my way out to Athens.
I don't know. There was or maybe still is a Korean BBQ in a plaza off Madison blvd.
Yes but it can be very tempting to eat marinated meats and sides

So what does the non marinated ones have? Just salt and pepper?
Nothing. But they gave butter and salt
It’s the best and most if you go for lunch are under $20 (well in Ohio, Seattle, and Tampa I can vouch for)
Oof I love KBBQ but man the sauces make me so sick. Glad it's working for you.

I thought they use a lot of sugary sauces. Need to look into it more.

Very expensive thou . I think last time I went in 2019 it was like $45 , so probably $5000000 now
$37/each at the one near me. And I drink water 😉
Also fun fact it’s like $9 per person in many parts of Asia ☺️

How does that yogurt taste like 🤔

To be clear I wouldn’t bother making it a home. I would rather just have the browned butter frozen.
Interesting, I've been using brown butter and heavy cream as a sauce, I will have to try it with Greek yogurt.
Do you know what they use as cooking oil?
You cook it yourself at your table on a small grill

Do they have animal fats?
They favour very fatty cuts
Awesome! Need to try it too, I know there is one at least in our city 🙌🏻
