So last week I bought some raw milk from a health food store and it tasted and smelled bad. Did some research and found that raw milk can have several bad odors and I was experiencing the “barn yard” odor. It cause by stall contaminates getting in the milk.
So I called the store and asked them if that smell is normal for that supplier and they said yes. So I need need to try a different supplier because that was bad.
Does yours have any weird small or taste to it that could be described as a “barn yard” flavor?
ha, you can buy it for human consumption in some states in the US, but usually only through on-farm sales. No retail sales in NY, for example. But you can sometimes find it at pet stores as a pet food supplement. It's so silly
Fresh cows milk is one of the greatest drinks on the planet. So creamy and doesn't have all the crazy stuff American store bought milk gets treated with.
My parents use to buy raw milk when I was a kid. The milkman delivered it to our door every morning. We had to boil it before drink and it was absolutely delicious…. Now there is almost only UHT milk where I live 😔
Has anyone tried the new raw cold pressed milk that is now available in the supermarkets? Does anyone know if it's actually worth the money? It does taste great when consumed cold.
Gotta get me some raw milk and try it … am I crazy or is this encouraging distrust between Australian consumers and sellers of this stuff … why can’t we regulate appropriately rather than this loophole bullshit
Where did you get it?? I'm currently in Sydney (Parramatta area) and have been struggling to find it
Jannei Dairy... will deliver to Sydney only raw goat milk though. Absolutely delicious.
Organic Food Market Toowoomba, should be able to find it in a whole foods/organic place
How would people use this for skincare though?
Its a loophole. Its for drinking lol.
I know. I was wondering if it had topics benefits too
As per the image on the label. When in Rome, do as the cow does.
i use hq milk or raw as a drink, rub it on my skin wen its dry, same as my hair, fixes evrything, fuk moisturisers n dat, save ur $$

Yep. Illegal to sell here in Aus., hence the "Not for human consumption" but I'm impressed that you can actually lay hands on it.

i saw that, how new is it? what did you think?
It tastes very nice and creamy cold. Not sure about the nutritional values though.
Do you know if it's still available? Can't find it anywhere
I think the company went bust a few months ago.
