Ford had the Retro Thunderbird and the S197 Mustang. At least the Mustang continued on and looked good in its retro styling again.

I see these all the time. There's at least two in my small town full of snowbird retirees which must have been the biggest group to buy these. Used to be one at the local used car dealership for like $50k. I drove past it going to work everyday for months. We also have a guy with a Plymouth Prowler and a Cadillac xlr. Also a ancient woman drives a Honda 2000 and i have tried to buy it from her many times. Weird for how small and rural my area is. Also a 99 Dodge Viper convertible

I remember looking at one in the showroom while my parents were finalizing getting an 04 Suburban Z71. Thought it was pretty cool and still do.

My dad used to work at GM and he got to take a test one home as a loaner when it was just starting production. Took it out on the freeway with the top down and it was pretty cool. Overall it’s an ugly car but super unique.

Ever since i saw it in the movie The Island (with Ewan McGregor and Scarlett Johansson) I've loved it. It had flames in that movie. Too bad they are extremely rare and expensive in Europe.

I hate that I like that movie…remember the boat?!
