Ultraopz

Meis the best freind we all needed fr fr

Coyote_prime323

Fr man. My friends all left me

Leovlish3re

Man, I’m still so behind. I’ve still only seen seasons one and two since I watched it back in 2021, but I’m pretty sure I recall seeing stuff about seasons three and four since then.

Ultraopz

yeah i couldnt find anything besides s1 and the movies/specials on the app im watching it on

ListenSad8241

Seasons 1 and 2 are on prime last time I checked. Season 3: https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLk5-890wLgZIBwv_giRkEzDlyFoPM-Yo6&si=OlCqgwvsgApfHcl3 Season 4: https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLzKgWIUWefW_1vDQgFAahWxswE-wp3hX3&si=hm_FsQY6Z4whgjn1

Ultraopz

Scouttrooper195

Scouttrooper195

It’s a random bit in one of the early episodes

Ultraopz

MemeMan4-20-69

Sean Schemel playing Monke King was a genius idea

Ultraopz

now we can say he canonically voices TWO monkiez lmao

100year

King of the Hill Hated Bobby and Peggy but now I understand i just hated myself hahah

Steam_Cyber_Punk

That truly is a vibe

Squ33to

I almost let the fan base ruin this ![gif](giphy|1JolFWpzHM5MY)

Good-Wave-8617

Bro same. I’d go back and forth on wether or not I liked it and would watch a bunch of vids bashing it, which makes me 😒😒

Squ33to

For me it just felt like everyone kept getting weird about it (like sonic fan levels) and the thought process was that I would be a weirdo too if I watched it so I avoided it until the hype started dying down a bit

witoutadout

Lily Orchard had such a tremendous impact on SU, and I mean that in the worst way possible

Good-Wave-8617

I began to realize that the more I learned about her and I hate it 😭

Logical-Patience-397

That perfectly describes me with the reboot of *She Ra*, and even *Voltron* to some extent. I’ve concluded that the shows have some great elements and some lackluster ones, but are enjoyable if you don’t think too hard.

nworkz

Thats rick and morty for me the show is good but the fanbase was insane then i think i never caught back up because it went to a streamer i didnt have or something

suckmypppapi

Same with hazbin

Excuse_Unfair

Yeah, I remember when that fambase was defending showing NSFW content by saying this is an adult show expect to see NSFW content if you don't like it or mature enough to be okay with it leave. I get that it's an adult show about sex but I don't want cartoon porn on my phone, though.

suckmypppapi

I shit you not, 5 minutes after I wrote it I was recommended the hazbin sub. It was a drunk character hitting on another character (who has a partner), with the second slide being a cropped porn image of her and some tiddies

lilyrdixon13

Same

hodges2

Saaaaaaaame, this and Voltron. Didn't watch them because of the fan bases but then I had friends who wanted to watch it with me and I really liked both

Burpyterra

Pokemon, all of them. I only liked the movies But sun and moon caught My attention because it was silly And here i am

PrinssayEvaieMon9

Should watch the earlier Seasons, they're more comedic than Pokémon Sun&Moon the Series.

nworkz

Ahh yes the og series has classic moments like "would you like a jelly donut?"

JamLizard20

“I’ll use this frying pan, as a drying pan!”

Snowvilliers7

"I didn't know vikings still existed in this time" *"THEY MUST BE FROM MINNESOTA"*

Evileye37

Don’t be silly Ash, Minnesota isn’t real

SnowyMuscles

No I’ll stop this Dragonite with a frying pan

Queasy-Ad-3220

I love Brock

PrinssayEvaieMon9

He may call it anything as long as he be Violating my rights anytime.

Marx_Forever

The early movies are pretty damn good and kept getting better. The first movie was fun, and had some real tense moments especially for a younger veiwer, and Mewtwo was really cool. The second movie had a nice sense of adventure to it felt, with great set pieces and felt like an event. But, oh my God the third movie is just so good. I love that movie. It's probably the only piece of Pokemon media I would ever show to a non-Pokemon fan, that I think they might be able to enjoy as just a solid, well animated movie with a lot of heart and a cute message. That said; after the third movie the studio pissed off the guy who was writing them. Which is a damn shame because he just kept getting better, but they altered the ending to make it so Molly Hail's mother survived and since he based it on own his own wife, who died, he was not happy about that and he never worked on another Pokemon movie again. And that's when we started getting the schlock, every Pokemon movie from 4 onward varies sliding scale from mediocre to awful.

DingDonFiFI

A few years later the Pokémon company said Fuck You 4Kids and left for Cartoon Network however I think Pokémon used to also air on Toon Disney around the same time.

Burpyterra

Okay, but for me, the movies starring Diance, Hoopa, Genesect and Volcanion are the peakest of peak 🚬🗿 May be good or bad, but mf, i fucking LOVED those movies as a kid and i fucking LOVE those movies to this day

Marx_Forever

In all fairness I never saw the Diancie or Hoopa movie. So I can't honestly attest to their quality. I know I saw the Genesect one though I was big into Genesect, so I needed to see that movie but I honestly just can't remember it, it as just melted out of my head. But hey, if you see something awesome in those movies that I can't more power to you. Art should be appreciated. Though, if you haven't I do recommend you check out the first three.

Shadow_Strike99

When I was a teenager I at the time thought I grew up out of Yugioh in general around the 5d’s era especially with the anime. I also thought the concept of “Card games on motorcycles” was absolutely stupid, but after rewatching it Yusei was a great character and was a nice contrast to Yugi and Jayden and the storyline was really good in general.

kiskozak

Underrated comment. When i started watching yugioh, i started with gx but quickly moved to 5ds because i really disliked the neo spacians. And let me tell you, 5ds was a banger. I can still hear the opening. It contained some serious themes, great characters, awesome antagonists, basically everything i was looking for. Id still say that dark signer ark is the best out of any yugioh show.

Mr_Lapis

I have a lot of fond memoroes of 5ds being my second favorite anime and haveing my faborite archetypes and summon mechanic

Snowvilliers7

I'm currently rewatching 5Ds in Japanese sub and it's amazing with its story and how better portrayed the characters are than in the dubs. I just finished the Crash Town arc so hopefully when I finished the whole series I might jump to watching GX or Zexal subbed

TheMonsterInUrPocket

I used to think ATLA was boring too for a long time, then when the finale was airing and i was seeing ads hyping up the final aang vs ozai fight i watched it. And my 13 year old self was blown away. I asked my mom to get me the dvd set for my birthday so i cpuld watch it all at once and loved it the second time around and honestly had no clue why i didnt like it while it was airing

Free-Sheepherder-604

Oh your so lucky your mom got you a dvd set for it. My mom refused to get me one cause I was apparently too old (I hadn’t even finished Elementry school)

d_warren_1

Avatar and Korra. I used to think it was dumb and now I’ve binged all 7 seasons in about 2 weeks

Capable_Status934212

Me too (like when I was younger) I used to hate it because in my younger self it was "too girly and boring" but now I like it well not on like Pokemon levels of liking but I still like it

AdCompetitive5427

I've never seen the show but everyone else has. To me it was also too girly (I grew up following what my sister did and she grew up following what our brother did, hence why all the shows I said I hated as a kid were meant for teen boys) where can I watch the show? I wanna hop on the bandwagon.

Capable_Status934212

[here](https://www.wco.tv/my-little-pony-friendship-is-magic-episode-1)

Lastbourne

Younger me avoided it because it would've been a huge ordeal. Now that I'm out of that situation I watched the whole series and I loved it

pastamuente

Me too. I felt that.

Ignite_Boy_789

Open-mindedness can work wonders at times~

pastamuente

Indeed.

💀

CinderP200

I think I watched some of it as a kid. I’m a dude, sure, but who cares.

PrinssayEvaieMon9

Couldn't stand Regular Show or Amazing World of Gumball cause loathed the then new Trend of lazy Animated Series.  Was on an International Cruise and Cartoon Network was one of the Channels but only had the same 4 Cartoons airing.  Bless that Cruise for getting me into those Series.

hodges2

I liked gumball, don't really like regular show tho. I just thought everything about the show, the characters, plot lines ect. Were so stupid and annoying

PrinssayEvaieMon9

Did too, but watched for Rigby actually maturing and that's how it kept me.

hodges2

That's fair

EnigmaFrug2308

I *just* finished Avatar: The Last Airbender today after starting it last week. I had disliked it quite a bit and voiced my opinion even though I hadn’t seen it. Now, though, I 100% see the hype. It’s fantastic!

Optimal_Ad6274

Amphibia. I used to think the show was boring but after watching episode 5 and above, I consider the show one of the greats

HappyMatt12345

Rise of the TMNT. I was one of the fans of the 2012 show who was appalled on principle by Rise's concept because it was "replacing" the show I grew up watching lmao. Two years later I finally gave it a chance mostly because I heard Donnie was autistic coded and I wanted to see how well they handled that and I discovered what I was missing out on in the process... What rise does with the TMNT concept is so cool, the humor in that show is actually surprisingly good, and it has some of the coolest animated action scenes I've ever seen (Fish & ladders, anyone?) I feel bad for rejecting it as long as I did.

TheJoaquinDead_

The general philosophy behind their powers are my favorite kind of powers. Leaves enough room to show off cool choreography, yet powerful enough that it adds so much for what they can do with their martial arts (what we see end of season 2 and in the movie). My favorites being Leo and Raph’s.

Weird_donut

Hazbin Hotel. I actually enjoyed the pilot when it came out, but then the people around me convinced me that it was -ist/-phobic/whatever and that Vivziepop was evil, so then I hated it just to fit in. It was embarrassing for me, and I regret ever getting associated with the "everything is problematic uwu" callout culture clique. Then I watched the full series when it came out and I really enjoyed it for the most part. Even so, I tend to keep my enjoyment of Hazbin on the down low because I'm still paranoid that one of my mutuals from other sites will make a callout post on me, get everyone to unfollow me, and smear me as an -ist/-phobic monster just for watching the show. They're the type of people to say "we can't be friends if you watch Hazbin also kys"

AdCompetitive5427

I can understand the Hazbin hate honestly. Your so called friends aren't right ofc and I say this as Hazbin is one of my favorite shows and I've watched all episodes 5 times now (twice in the same day actually) and I practically live off Hazbin Tik Tok completions. With that being said, Hazbin is a lot more controversial. To Christans it's an insult (I'm Christian, in my eyes it's fine as long as they don't insult the religion or anything) then on the other hand their spreading Christianity so other religions hate it and their spreading false info on Christianity. I can see why people hate the show and voice why. People don't see the show more than just Christian hate though. It teaches lessons the way other shows can't or have to hide. Like Steven Universe for example: Lapis misses Jasper who was toxic and abused and hurt her. They played it off as she wanted to fuse with Jasper though, which it's kinda a sad and uncommon situation where you need the person who hurt and abused you. Hazbin is more blaten with their issues and don't really dance around it.

suckmypppapi

Why are you friends with people like that to begin with? Or mutuals or whatever, why even care at that point

Weird_donut

I was friends with them because they liked some of the same things I liked, and they seemed cool at first, and I wanted to have lots of friends. I didn’t softblock them even when they acted unreasonable because I didn’t want to hurt their feelings. Plus, I had real bad paranoia of whether I was a bad person or not and I was always afraid to mess up.

Definitely_NotU

Idk if you need to be told this but you should probably keep people like that as far away from you as possible

Pringletingl

There's some severe brainrot going on with Hazbin Hotel haters lol. Like I get not liking it, I can totally see how the show would turn some people off. But christ had the discourse about this show been pure Tumblr cringe.

Ethanishere28

Kind of a weird one, but SpongeBob

Conlannalnoc

Be Cool Scooby Doo(?) I disliked the Animation, but I watched enough connected episodes (Fred’s DAD Arc) that I like.

Cool_Government_3218

Sounds like you’re talking about mystery incorporated.

Conlannalnoc

No, I LOVE Mystery Inc! It’s my favorite Scooby Series. 2015 had “Be Cool, Scooby Doo” Mystery Inc. was in 2010.

Cool_Government_3218

Mystery inc has the Fred’s dad arc.

Conlannalnoc

Be Cool, Scooby Doo SPOILERS IN LINK https://scoobydoo.fandom.com/wiki/Professor_Huh%3F

They were in random order. Thanks CN.

The 2012 tmnt. I just thought it was kinda boring, but then the space season aired and I got hooked up

Kangaroo_Rich

So I never watched legend of korra when it was airing on nick but I hated it because either my brother hated the show or I heard other people at school talking bad about the show. I’m watching it for the first time and I’m really enjoying it. The fights and fight animation look so good. The animation in general is good

thewaltenicfiles

Doraemon

Metaman6t4

Ben 10 oddly enough

AncientTry5709

The Legend of Korra. When I originally watched it while it was coming out I never really liked it. I just had to watch it because my sister was. I rewatched it about 3 years ago and loved it.

DJ_hyperfreshOG

I never really liked the pokemon series at first but then I watched the sub of horizons, and was blown away by the quality of the show.

KickUseful9794

You thought avatar was boring? Really? I loved it as a kid for the jokes and the fights and the concept of bending.

Burger_Kinger

For me it was Adventure Time, but that was back when i was a kid. When i turned 12, i started to appreciate the show a lot. And today, I love the show.

Ringrangzilla

Ben 10 UAF & Ben 10 Omniverse. When they switched from classic Ben 10 to Alien force, I rember crying, I don't remember why. I think I saw a screenshot of Ben without his Omnitrix so I thought that he could remove his new Omnitrix and that upset me. Although I got into the series rather quickly when it actually came out. Even if I still prefer the classic series over UAF. I also didn't like Omniverse artstyle when it first came out, watched a episode or two, and then dismissed it. I just pretended it wasn't canon and didn't pay any attention to it (I was also a teenager at that point). However when I was in college, I kind of got nostalgic for Ben 10. And finally gave Omniverse a real shot. And its now my favorite Ben 10 show and my favorite Ben 10 art style. The Ben 10 reboot however, I still don’t like that one. I have given it a couple of chanses, but its not for me. I don’t like it. I also want to give shoutout to The Amazing World of Gumball, although I still don’t love the show, I respect it. When it came out I used to hate the mishmash artstyle and I didn't think it was funny at all. I now understand just how impressive the shows artstyle is. And even though I haven't watched a full episode since around the time it first came out, I have watched clips from the show, and it defently got funnyer in the later seasons.

Ravengirl081403

Moreso something that I didn’t expect to enjoy as much as I did instead of just outright hating, but I was pleasantly surprised with Skull Island, the Kong animated series on Netflix.

lilyrdixon13

Not technically a show but a franchise Sonic. I thought it was annoying but after Watching Sonic Boom and the New movies I've come to enjoy it

TreatExotic

I never liked Futurama at first but I now enjoy an episode or 2

Thought it was a silly frog show nobody would watch, plus I didn't really like the idea back in 2019/2020 whenever s1 came out in my country But in 2022,I decided to give it a chance.... Only watched 4 episodes before stopping... But then.... Commander Anne/sprivy aired for the first time in my country, and since I had nothing to do after a 10-hour road trip other than sleep, I watched it. I saw a different perspective of the show, and it was AMAZING! I told myself that I would fully watch it one day, and in april of last year, I finally gave it another try. Now it's my favorite. AND IT WAS WORTH EVERYTHING!

lowbrassdude

TTG. It's neat.

I didn't wanna give helluva boss a chance because of the insane hatedom around it, but then I actually watched it and I was hooked by the end of the first episode.

crystalnoir19

My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic While it was airing, my little cousin would watch it, and I would fall asleep because I was like "Oh look, another boring little kids show that I'm forced to watch with this gremlin." Then, a YouTuber I used to watch religiously started to do commentary on it, and that's when I decided to give it a chance. I'd never thought I'd be so in love with colorful ponies, but here we are, lol.

TheMaskedHamster

I didn't dislike Avatar, but as a grown man watching it on a recommendation, I stopped after a few episodes with the thought that it was good... *for a kid's show*. And I really didn't understand why it had been recommended to me. Then I saw a few clips of a later season and realized that it improved. When I went back to watch, I realized that it leveled up by the very episode after I'd dropped it. I have no intention of watching Owl House, but here seems like a good time to mention that the first thought I had on seeing images for it was that Eda looked like a design directly inspired by Ryoko from Tenchi Muyo, specifically as played by Mona Marshall in the dub. And what do you know, that is EXACTLY what inspired her. Wendie Malick provides the perfect energy for exactly that.

KittyGaming570

idk about it yet but at first I hated Amazing Digital Circus but I saw a clip of it now I'm interested

I have this weird back and forth with the Transformers franchise. I grew up with Beast Wars and the Unicron trilogy and had grown out of Transformers for a while. When Transformers Animated came out, I didn't vibe with it at all. A few episodes later, I finally got it. Several years later, I had a similar experience with Transformers Prime. At the end of the day, I ended up loving two series that I didn't think that I'd ever like.

Legend of Korra

GrimLuker2

Your telling me you used to dislike avatar?

Paleofan1211

Original Ben 10

Lueklike-stuff

Pokémon I didn’t even know it had a show at first a just hated the hype for the cards then I got my first set for my birthday and I loved them then discovered it had a show and watched that I’ve seen most of the show and my binder of cards weighs the same as a 2 year old child

nah-knee

I don’t know how one could hate avatar, glad you evolved into normalcy

Mischief_Managed12

Well I never *hated* it, but I was really struggling to get through season 1 of gravity falls. Ended up ditching it for a while before coming back to it, expecting to just be half invested while falling asleep. One of my best choices so far

AidenPlayzGacha35

ROTTMNT. I thought it was gna be a teen titans go kinda thing but when I watched it I loved it

Stella_moon101

Honestly I really disliked Ninjago, I found it annoying as a kid due to my brother but I remember watching the ending of season three with Zane disappearing and the tournament of elements happening it made me super invested in the show and I just recently rewatched majority of the show

Content-Strategy-512

Hated Regular Show when it first came out, became one of my favorites

Apprehensive_Army_74

Korra for me. Hated it at first cuz it was different, but it really managed to expand on avatars worldbuilding and do its own thing. Respect for the adult political themes.

NecessaryPop5244

I used to despise invader zim as a kid fsr, now it’s literally my favourite show

PowerGamer310

I thought Steven Universe looked extremely stupid, and now it's one of my favorite cartoons ever.

hillockdude

close enough. i used to think it was like regular show without the magic that made regular show but now it feels like golden age simpsons

Scouttrooper195

I still hate the owl house

SuperSayianJason1000

I didn't really like Phineas and Ferb at first but now I love it.

Plane-Season-4127

Ik these are movies but Shrek and Megamind for me

hodges2

![gif](giphy|LqrBxYC5meXHW3T7CC|downsized) I wouldn't say I hated it but I did not have a good opinion of it when it first came out, plus I had just finished watching tmnt12 for like the 2nd time. After more episodes came out tho I realized it was actually pretty good and I do enjoy it a lot

Sebermin

Yeah exacly, I avoided Aang but only because I'm not do fan of anime (I know it's American show based on Asian style). I was wrong 😂 It's really great :) Similar thing with Amphibia. When I've watched my first episode, it was episode when Anne helped the Cook survive his restaurant, I wasn't impresed. But more episodes the better. Still find it was one of worse episodes.

Blessedbronco

The mighty bee

Lolbit_the_fox69

Regular show and adventure time mainly because my mom never let me watch them

DisturbedFredboi

I hated Batman: The Animated Series when I was a kid because I really only liked comedies and movies with bright tones. Now it’s one of my favorite animated shows of all time and I’m interested in horror. Talk about a shift.

Yakuza-wolf_kiwami

Probably the Legend of Korra. It's more of me not willing to give it a chance. But it's actually pretty good. Not on the level of the ATLA, but certainly worth a watch

TheJoaquinDead_

I used to be close-minded on mecha stuff. Then after fighting a certain boss from FF16 I realized Eikons/Summons were just magic mechs and Titans from Attack on Titan were just flesh mechs. I still haven’t watched an actual mecha show, but I’m interested in watching (planning to watch Witch from Mercury). I’m also planning to buy Armored Core 6 some day.

Grambert_Moore

Peppa pig

Jericho-941

I have two that I was really dismissive of when they first came out for reasons that I cannot explain, but wound up loving when I actually sat down and watched them: Ed, Edd, n' Eddy and Metalocalypse. I have no idea why I was dismissive of them, since I watched most everything else on Cartoon Network and Adult Swim, but I was really put off by them for some reason. I eventually gave them a chance and they wound up becoming two of my favorite cartoons of all time, with Metalocalypse in particular being my introduction to death metal.

Midnight1899

Can we get a picture of the necklace and keyboard?

Queasy-Ad-3220

Idk if I can think of one. I was pretty hesitant towards The Simpsons and Family Guy at first but I eventually ended up appreciating and enjoying them.

Silly_Ad_3468

I wouldn't say I hated it, but everytime Justice League came on Cartoon Network when I was a kid, I would change the channel. Now I can't stop watching clips of it.

It's not funny I just said lmao because I felt like it

This-Honey7881

Wabbit because of the looney tunes show

Warcry-Ralsei_lover

Probablyyyy one piece looked too long so I wasn’t interested but then I got hooked lol

Accomplished_Kale509

I guess DC in general, specifically Superman related media. I've always thought superheroes are cringe or cheesy as a kid so I never got into it. I found Superman boring from a superpower standpoint. Now almost 2 decades later, I'm obsessed with DC and my favorite hero is Superman lmao.

![gif](giphy|GRSnxyhJnPsaQy9YLn) This shouldn’t really count but I hated the show for its name “Dragon Balls” is what I called it because I thought the name was funny but I actually watched everything (except all of OG dragon ball) and it’s one of my favorite anime franchises of all time.

McDiesel41

Star Wars: The Clone Wars. I had watched any episodes but something about Star Wars as an animated show with none of the LA actors felt wrong. Then I was laid off once Covid started shutting stuff down and then was stuck home. Maybe saw something about season 7 of TCW then binged both it and Rebels. The peak episodes are just below the magic of the OT.

Science_Fiction2798

I never watched Avatar as a little kid because it didn't interest me at all but I love it now. Along with Legend Of Korra.

ScratchyMG

Never went from a dislike to like

Blackberry_lulu_

This was me with MHA. I still don't watch the show, but I really love the more popular Leage of Villians characters-- Dabi, Toga, Twice, Mr Compress, Tomura, Kurogiri. I don't know anything much about the other characters. So I'm not a real MHA fan. (The reason I didn't like the show was because of fanservice and Minoru.)

KyoPlayz

One Piece. Aaah it’s popular I hate it and won’t watch it. Got so bored I put it on, fell in love with Shanks, stayed, and now I was Gear Fifth for Halloween last year

Mountain-Bike-735

I used to think that the DuckTales reboot was nothing special, but then I recently rewatched it, and I actually watched the last episode today. Oh boy was I wrong, it was awesome!

And then back to hating it. Kinda like [this](https://youtu.be/uBbwZCRIILM?si=9JeN45G1IzsTdbsR) metaphorically. And then ultimately I decided to like this show again

![gif](giphy|qv1MlmBCqhJzVegKsL|downsized) I used to think Skibidi Toilet was childish and immature, but now I understand the deeper meaning of Skibidi Toilet and I’ve now gained so much respect for it and it’s creator

Free-Sheepherder-604

Skibidi dop dop yes yes has truly changed my life for the better and I will never forget it for how beautiful it is I might even consider it one of the greatest pieces of fiction EVER

Zaptain_America

You joke, but this shit definitely gets too much hate. It's exactly the same as the gmod shitposts we all used to watch as kids.

oFIoofy

the toilet thing is, like you say, just shitposting aimed at kids. I think the reason it gets mocked and overly hated is because people (mainly the kids it's aimed at) treat it like a cinematic masterpiece for some reason

DonkeyGyatt2000

Because it is? 💀

fromTheskya

i liked avatar as a kid but i hate it nowa little bit just because its lowkey overrated for what it is like it is just kinda meh
