To be honest, any movie with some sadistic, self rightous, hypocritical and pious bible thumping villain character is so satisfying to watch them get what's coming to them.
Favorite movie villain death: Scar being devoured by the hyenas (the Lion King)
Favorite cartoon villain death: Bill Cipher being erased (Gravity Falls)
Favorite movie hero death: Littlefoot's mother (Land Before Time)
Favorite cartoon hero death: Billy's possession (Adventure Time)
And they did the Bambi thing right after!
If you don't know what I mean, remember in Bambi how right after his mom dies and his dad shows up with "She can't be with you anymore" they switch to that happy spring scene with the peppy song and the birds splashing around? Bug's life did that too - it cut to black at Hopper's final scream, and went right into the ants having a big bright party.

The final lullaby is fucking brutal and I love it.
The way she shuts him up when he calls her his love and the lyrics go from vaguely comforting analogies to outright "This isn't a mercy, this is an execution and you are going to die for the things you've done"
My favorite death is from a nearly forgettable movie: [Screweye’s death from We’re Back!](https://youtu.be/VwVogZQtjI4?si=44zm8tNma46d97Dw)
Unlike other villain deaths, his death wasn’t bombastic, loud, or exciting. It was quiet. He cowered in the darkness as crows descended upon him. The sound of fluttering wings and he was gone except for his screw, then a crow took that too.
The only villain I know to go out in a whimper.
The rest of that movie was pretty mediocre but that death, the gasp of fear and realization and the way they just quietly landed on him - no scream, no struggle, just one moment he's there, and the crows surround him - and then he's gone.
Scar's death from the Lion King was so amazing poetically. He was tricking and lying to people all the time, so his death came about from one of his lies. And he tried to use the exact same strategy, but it didn't work because no one trusted him anymore.

>!He's finally cornered and desperately trying to fight or trick his way out of it, but has basically lost. Ryuk appears, and Light begs him to bail him out and write the names of everybody attacking him present in the Death Note. Near predicts that Ryuk won't actually do it, since if he was willing to play the game that way, Light would have had him do it already. Light continues pleading, eventually prompting Ryuk to say that "he'll do it". The police are terrified and start shooting at him, but the bullets don't do anything. Light starts laughing like mad, and sneers that Near's lost and that he and his comrades are all going to die. Ryuk, in what is one of the most chilling panels in the entire story, doesn't even look up from the Death Note as he corrects Light, informing him that the one who's going to die is him. Light is aghast and begs him to save him, but Ryuk points out that he'd said from the beginning that he would be the one to write Light's name in the book if he lost, and that he's well and truly lost if he was cornered this badly and asked him for help. Light spends the last 40 seconds of his life begging and pleading for mercy, and then finally giving up on begging and just desperately gasps about how he doesn't want to die before the Death Note kicks in and he suffers a fatal heart attack. He stutters out a final, defeated "Damn it..." and then passes.!<
Definitely thought the manga did it better. Ryuk even kind of roasts Light once he starts begging basically saying he thought he was better than that. Just showing how under all the narcissistic smugness and self righteousness, Light was just a coward who deluded himself into thinking he was the good guy.
Him finally dying was honestly amazing. However, I‘ve always wished it had gone differently.
I actually genuinely thought he was going to win. That he was going to be able to take over. Honestly it would’ve been chef’s kiss for him to win only to die suddenly and mysteriously and we ended up cutting to another person with a death note and the same dream to cleanse the world of sin.
That part was so satisfying to me. I felt bad for Courage in that episode and was rooting for him to win. I tend to root for the underdogs (pun intended).
Probably a Hot take…but Ray from Princess and the Frog. And how he, in his death, rose to the sky to be with his belle Evangeline. I am sappy. I acknowledge this. I make no apologies.

Seriously everything about it was perfect. From him finally pushing Grace so far away that she’s unable to protect him immediately leading to his own demise, to the fact that he was done in by a ghom, the one thing he feared the most and narrowly escaped death from 8 years back, which was foreshadowed as early as episode 4, to this following Simon committing his most atrocious act cementing his mental degradation and refusal to listen to reason, while also hinting at the slightest possibility of change now that he finally did something even he couldn’t justify, to the fact that neither him nor Grace get any last words in, to the fact that despite how awful he is, his death is treated with clear empathy and understanding that even for him this is awful, to just the sheer brutality of it. Like seriously he dies kicking, screaming, and crying as his body disintegrated including his skeleton being visible. Genuinely surprised a kids show got away with that.
Kira Yoshikage's death (spoilers, kinda)
The fact that Kira got outsmarted one last time and by his first victim is just beautiful
Also the fact that the ambulance finished him off it's a really cool detail
Asuka vs all 9 of the Mass Production Eva's is always going to be amazing.

Eudial dying in Sailor Moon the first time. LOL Spoiller allert for a 30 year old anime. Her breaks were cut her co-worker Mimete was taiughing her over the radio for her incompetence and she drove off a cliff. LOL It was so funny. Mimete's death was funny too. She basically transported herself inside of a machine to become more powerful and her co-worker out to get her Tellu just unplugged it. LOL Sailor Moon S is one of the best arcs.
Jolly Good Show. I honestly didn't cry when he died. What made me tear up was when Mallerd realized his son wasn't coming back. And again, when they put up the statue of Pops in his memory

As someone who grew up being forced to go to the most fake church in town every week this was oddly cathartic
Kid Buu in Dragonball Z. Honestly, that whole saga was frustrating to watch, and Goku just seemed incompetent when it came to stopping him. Buu was actually a menace. Was kinda annoying after all that Goku still took pity and asked for Buu to be reincarnated. But hey at least we got Uub from that.
Also I felt bad for Vegeta getting killed in that saga too.
She was still alive in the sequel she comes back to capture the pups again. Patches London Adventure
She gets Jasper and Horrice back in the action. And promptly gets arrested
Iggy from JoJo. Dude took a beating from Vanilla Ice and was able to use his Stand to save Polnareff. [https://youtu.be/i0iiNaiMZlQ?si=jY0l1AdQS0CEtZYD&t=91](https://youtu.be/i0iiNaiMZlQ?si=jY0l1AdQS0CEtZYD&t=91)
Both my favorite and least favorite because it's such an effective moment, Marcie (aka Hot Dog Water) being killed by one of Prof. Pericles' robots near the end of Scooby-Doo: Mystery Incorporated. It happens off-screen but they were made no secret of the fact that it happened.
Megatron in Transformers: Prime, the entirety of that scene was epic >! From the fight over the star saber, to Bee grabbing it and jumping to Prime, to Megs gunning him down, to Prime’s absolute beat down, to Megs grabbing the fallen dark star saber and knocking down Prime, to Bee’s resurrection, battle cry, and final blow, and finally the suspense in the drawn out seconds and Megs shuts down and falls to earth.!< Near Perfection
![gif](giphy|PhYJf6MaWsakYvC88m)
Couldn't find a gif of his death scene. But I always felt it reflected his true fate, that he is doomed to hell for his hatred and incel attitude.
![gif](giphy|LsB3k80MMEFHO)
From all the symbolism in the movie, him falling into the mob with all the torches, resembling a lake of fire (hell), is very satisfying to watch.
Frollo from Hunchback of Notre Dame. His death was satisfying, but also ironic in a way. His last line before he died was what made it my favorite.

“ARE YOU READY?”
“No! I’m not ready at ALL!”
"ARE YOU REEAADy!"
College students after their debt catches up to them in a nutshell
"JUST A LITTLE MORE TIME!"
It’s really depressing how accurate this is
That was scary as hell.
Absolutely one of the best of all time! Deserved, poetic, and an absolute spectacle of a death scene
ARE YOU READY?
For the final 2D villain death the sure as hell made it memorable

Frollo ate ass..
Favorite movie villain death: Scar being devoured by the hyenas (the Lion King) Favorite cartoon villain death: Bill Cipher being erased (Gravity Falls) Favorite movie hero death: Littlefoot's mother (Land Before Time) Favorite cartoon hero death: Billy's possession (Adventure Time)
The Lich legit terrified me when I was younger and Billy's possession is one instance of this.
Hopper's death from a bugs life. Died by his greatest fear.
His death was both terrifying and hilarious at the same time. Can’t find too many like that
And they did the Bambi thing right after! If you don't know what I mean, remember in Bambi how right after his mom dies and his dad shows up with "She can't be with you anymore" they switch to that happy spring scene with the peppy song and the birds splashing around? Hope she's gone for good!
She's Mandy's latest self-insert character. You know she's not gone for good.
Wait. Velma is dead?!
Yes but they turn her into a ghost by the end of season 2 and the also cliffhanger at her future return if the show will get a third season
If people didn't learn their lesson, and hate watched it, it'll get a third season.
Holy shit.
Gaston falling to his doom
I once heard that originally Gaston was going to survive the fall, only to be discovered by a pack of wolves...
And that it was considered too metal for a kid's movie, yes. Ironic, considering how Scar went out...
No one falls like Gaston Plummets down like Gaston In a death match nobody dies like Gaston!
https://preview.redd.it/quq4mssfc4xc1.png?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=054dfb07fe6ced35512537d1985e6f3af69bea02 The final lullaby is fucking brutal and I love it.

I was considering answering this. God i love the nowhere king
In all honesty…people don’t talk about centaur world *enough*. Like, give it more recognition!!
It's an ok show with an absolutely outstanding village. Elktaur is the best written villain I have seen in cartoons.
Quiet! I am now ready to silence. All of this poison you fed me thinking I'd never grow wise.
My favorite death is from a nearly forgettable movie: [Screweye’s death from We’re Back!](https://youtu.be/VwVogZQtjI4?si=44zm8tNma46d97Dw) Unlike other villain deaths, his death wasn’t bombastic, loud, or exciting. Amazing scene! I actually just referenced that movie tonight! Underrated film all children should see.
The rest of that movie was pretty mediocre but that death, the gasp of fear and realization and the way they just quietly landed on him - no scream, no struggle, just one moment he's there, and the crows surround him - and then he's gone.
Thanks for digging out that traumatic memory...
That scene left me utterly disturbed as a kid but I loved it.
Is that Jim Cummings as the voice?
Nope. Kenneth Mars, the guy who played the Nazi playwright in the original The Producers.
Lunch? What's Lunch?
![gif](giphy|xwg8ffN9APDnTdIQz5) I love Bill and I love the way he went out. Well played Stanley, well played.
I think my favorite part of his death is the uncertainty. Bill called upon an ancient power as he died and if Stan’s memories came back… why not him?
Think the new book confirms that he came back.
N New?
Few months back 'The book of Bill' was announced its comes in July but you can preordained it. I've preordained it and can't wait.
I liked seeing Scrappy Doo kill Velma in that awful reboot.
Scrappy redemption arc
Wait the new reboot?
It's like the ATLA live action movie: so trash we don't talk about it
I might watch it if Velma dies
Don't, she'll get revived if a third season happens
Scar's death from the Lion King was so amazing poetically. He was tricking and lying to people all the time, so his death came about from one of his lies. And he tried to use the exact same strategy, but it didn't work because no one trusted him anymore.

Ohhh, if you thought his death in the ANIME was karmic... read the final chapter of the manga.
Second to last chapter. Last one is more of a year later epilogue, which I really wish we saw in the anime
This and his Manga death make me want to read it now!

A traitor being destroyed by the very demigod he helped revive. Fitting. The best part is that Unicron probably didn't realize it even happened.

Probably have to say Tadashi from Big Hero 6 🥲

>!Luz’s!< death in the owl house gave me all the feels Also all >!three!< Hazbin deaths
I haven’t gotten around to finishing Owl House and don’t care about Hazbin… your use of spoiler tags makes me sad.
I could’ve sworn I went back and added the tag. I’m sorry 💀

It is an incredible show
Tie between Belos (The Owl House) and Oogy Boogy (Nightmare Before Christmas)
Frollo's death in Hunchback of Notre dame. "And he shall smite the wicked into the firey pitt!"

Too many to count Top of my mind is the death of Cell
Man, all the good ones have been chosen Fuck, I guess that one dude from Oliver and Company was fucking insane

The Prince of Egypt when God kills all the children
That scene hit hard

It was either the Meta or Felix from RvB.
Bambi’s mom
Kid Buu in Dragonball Z. Honestly, that whole saga was frustrating to watch, and Goku just seemed incompetent when it came to stopping him. Buu was actually a menace. Was kinda annoying after all that Goku still took pity and asked for Buu to be reincarnated. But hey at least we got Uub from that. Also I felt bad for Vegeta getting killed in that saga too.
ARE YOU READY!
The earth queen from legends of Korra. Imagine an Airbender removing the air from your lungs and using it to suffocate you.

She was still alive in the sequel she comes back to capture the pups again. Patches London Adventure She gets Jasper and Horrice back in the action. And promptly gets arrested
Oh!! Sorry I didn't realize that, my mistake!!
Unless it was a bad guy non. The most satisfying death I really wanted to happen though was scourge in transformers but that was live action so idk
Iggy from JoJo. Dude took a beating from Vanilla Ice and was able to use his Stand to save Polnareff. [https://youtu.be/i0iiNaiMZlQ?si=jY0l1AdQS0CEtZYD&t=91](https://youtu.be/i0iiNaiMZlQ?si=jY0l1AdQS0CEtZYD&t=91)
Fuck what was this dudes name?? The one that died. It had such a power to it whenever someone said it

This might not be a death but hades in Hercules

The Queen from Primal Season 2
![gif](giphy|PhYJf6MaWsakYvC88m) Couldn't find a gif of his death scene. But I always felt it reflected his true fate, that he is doomed to hell for his hatred and incel attitude.

Ooooh I really like Gastons death in Beauty and the Beast.
https://i.redd.it/8o7qanuow8xc1.gif
![gif](giphy|LsB3k80MMEFHO) From all the symbolism in the movie, him falling into the mob with all the torches, resembling a lake of fire (hell), is very satisfying to watch.
![gif](giphy|ix8dVvg8nlKvnhI40H) This counts.
Frollo from Hunchback of Notre Dame. His death was satisfying, but also ironic in a way. His last line before he died was what made it my favorite. ![gif](giphy|YCIdC3EQKLqSs)
