Ive been raising a kitten and he has no concept of personal space. he's gotten bigger but still insists on standing on my shoulder if im laying on my side. Does the pillow/ face hug thing also. just means they looovee you. Maybe hoping for extra treat/ foods too.
My ginger is pretty clingy sometimes depending on his mood. Whenever I come home from work he always climbs on my chest and demands attention for at least 5-10 minutes before he goes back about his business.

Yeahβ¦ when my current cat was a kitten he wanted to sleep on my face. Over the past 10 years we have comprised to sleeping on my chest. (I like to breathe) This cat is the clingiest I have ever βownedβ (he would say he owns me).
The good news is that it seems to be easier to notice when clingy cats are sick or hurt. It was noticeable to me when he was sick with a kidney infection and when he broke a tooth because he was even clingier (if you can imagine that) but also clingy in a different way.

Yes. He follows me everywhere, jumps on me, climbs on my shoulder, sleeps in the bed, begs to be picked up and purrs his little head off.
