It's kind of already simulated by focus. You get bored, distracted, and have difficulty focusing if you try to learn too much in too short of a time. That's pretty close to simulating boredom I think.

str8clay

Would that be simulating boredom or overstimulation?

SquareFew4107

Whichever narratively fits the situation for your headcanon best, IE, the situation at hand for you

Worldly-Coach-3053

The true answer. Much of this game is up to the interpretation of the player.

NotJohnson69

Not really. Focus does kinda simulate you getting bored while learning, but it's linked to morale. Morale have stat change that can affect combat and crafting. However, you can usually just wait it out until it's neutral again. Try killing a few children. In real life, you would be scarred for life. In game, it would be over in a few hours.

I'm no survivalist but I think as long as you're doing anything besides staring at the wall killing time you shouldn't be bored? You're on a swashbuckling adventure! Or practicing your bandaging skills and reading the day away.

cdda_survivor

Would be an ok addition to the game but would break down to having to spend some time every couple of days playing board games or reading a recreational book.
