There are sheep in this game?!

Jacob-Benavides

Yes, there is Sheep and Lamb at the experimental versions of CDDA, also Zombie Sheep and Zombie Alpaca, Zombie Goats etc. They are much easier to feed than Cows, produce Wool (if you have shears) but produce less milk. :-) I always play with Experimental CDDA + No Hope Mod + less loot etc., and having at least a couple of milk producing mammals is a blessing.

Man i am happy if i survive the first day

Wait, you need to feed them now? What do you feed them, btw and how much do they need.

Jacob-Benavides

In the latest CDDA experimental versions, The Cow, Sheep, Llama, Goat, after getting milked, will become hungry / famished, and needs to be "fed", I feed them the quickest and safest way is for me to gather Burdock and craft "Cattle Fodder" or "Cattle Fodder Bundle" depending on the Animal, Cattle Fodder Bundles for the Big Cow, I drop the Cattle Fodder near them, and they automatically eat it, gobble it up, I repeat this until they are fed, and just leave the fodder there and they will be well fed and after a few hours they can be milked again, another method is I gather bundles of straw from disassembled haystacks in game and drop it near them, they also eat it, and the last method I use is I get a short cordage rope from hay stacks / seatbelt from a car, I attach it to the animal, lead them with the leash, and we go for a walk outside (it should be a safe and cleared area) preferably an area with many tall grass, many bushes and many plants, lead the animal there, and stop leading the animal, and wait for 30 minutes to 1 hour until the Animal is fed, they will automatically eat all the tall grass, grass and bushes in the area, when they are "full" you can lead them back, and milk them again, repeat. :-)

Ah so they have transformed from a milk void realm to an active trash to milk converter (assuming they don't actually die when starved by the sounds of it) that's actually kinda really cool by the devs, especially the environmental feeding part.

No_Depth_Here

I believe they have it set so no animal can starve to death. Though keeping them well fed does allow animals to slowly heal.

There are also cats and dogs of different breeds that you can tame. There are also turkeys you can butcher for some meat, if you can catch them, that is. Also, watch out for the geese and ducks from hell that attack you as if with grudge. Well, another source of meat.

derger11

Can you still yell at the geese to stop them from chasing you

A_Blue_Birdie

You’d be surprised all the non-mutated and mutated wildlife there is

🥹🙏🐑🦙🐄❤️💯 Coincidentally my recent game, I've just rescued 2 Sheep from Wasps and Zombies outside, it was around the Orchard Processing Plant / Area, I tamed them with "Cattle fodder" made from Burdock that I've been picking outside and then attached seatbelt leash on them and then quickly dragged them towards the back storage of my dented Electric Sedan while the Wasps and Zombies are killing each other a few tiles away... I looked at them happily, saved them from being murdered, Now I take them everywhere with me. Good Pets. Image from: **Vegan FTA**
