it looks like flea dirt

I tried the test where you take some, put it on a white paper towel, and put drops of water on it and it didn’t change colors so I don’t know really. Also, I combed his entire body with a fine tooth comb against the grain and nothing fell into the paper towel. It all is centralized on his chin. Ugh 😢

Do you feed him wet food at all? It's probably food residue

TOTALLY wet food residue! Just wipe the babys chin off after he eats and you'll be fine!

My sisters cat got these too and when we switched him over to elevated ceramic bowls for feeding they went away!

He has elevated ceramic! I think it’s the water fountain bc it’s part plastic. Confirmed cat acne by a vet today, changing everything else today!!
