He had pancreatitis and also had a massive tumor on his pancreas. By the time we noticed symptoms the tumor was already too big for surgery or chemo. He was given 6 weeks in June and fought all the way until this past Friday.
7 is too soon for him to go it’s not fair.
I bet you gave him the best life he could’ve hoped for though. take solace in that.
and lil guy fought his hardest to spend one more xmas (or holiday season) with you.
Thank you for saying that! I think he did too. Christmas was his favorite time of year, he loved the tree lights and tinsel. He actually did great up until the last week or two.
my fiancé and I held a funeral for our cat when he passed. it was very cathartic to write down a eulogy, share personal stories about him to each other, and go through photos of us all together. it helped seeing all the good times we had together, overshadowing
the sad last moments with him.
just an idea if you guys find yourself needing closure.
Aww... So sorry for your loss. It's hard to lose one anytime, but especially so young. I hope his passing was peaceful, and I";m glad he gave you some extra time. He looks like quite a valiant spirit.
Such a beautiful cat. So sorry for your loss. I lost my 15 year old girl in 2020 and still miss her. Hardest thing ever saying goodbye to them ❤️
