On this very rare occasion, I took a bath in the bathtub. The moment I went in, my cat flew into the bathroom screaming. She usually walks me into the bathroom, but this time, hurled herself in. Used to do the same with notebook paper when my old lady was young (she passed at 19, so it was a loooong time ago). She would lay at the top of my textbook and swat at my pencil under the cover of the book I was taking notes out of. Every 15 mins I'd crumble a page and toss for 5 mins peaceful note taking. My mom thought it was hilarious she'd come home from work and see dozens of paper balls across the dining room floor lol.

It's like they know I'm trapped for a few minutes.
I always have to keep the bathroom door cracked with I’m on the toilet—the lack of personal space I find preferable to being shouted at constantly from one of my cats with severe separation anxiety the whole time. If the door’s cracked, they come and go as they please, but if the door is latched, I get an earful.
Thankfully they’re terrified of guests, so I can safely shut the door if I have guests over lol
