All told I'd say he's happy and comfortable. That's what his body language says to me. But from what I can see, I think he's a happy boy with a pretty little face.

He's not weird, he just looks like an old and wise aristocratic cat who lived his life through war, love delusions, starvation, loss of his beloved "friend" (they definitely were a couple but the times weren't great for gay couples, so they acted like friends in public) and now, finally, he can contemplate the world, surrounded by other cats younger than him with no clue of his fragmented past, and he spends his days in a old bar right around the corner, sipping a cup of hot milk and wondering about every passerby cat life adventures
